Lets say Ra.one is made without Kareena , then media would have termed it a Boys only product. So director included Little bit of love story, so that he can say,' Hey ,This is a family movie'. Personally though kareena is one of the saving grace of the movie.

I agree with you that KK was the saving grace of Ra.One😆 Though I'm not sure if others would😆 And nice analysis- sure shot way to make a movie "family movie" 😆😆😆
Then again, that's what makes me wonder, why is it that a large part of the audience wants to see romance in everything? The script may demand romance, but it still happens to be there, weird!

Hey! You are Anusha, arn't you? Remember me from the NAIDL forum? I'm Harsha btw, changed my UN! Good to see you on this forum😃
That's exactly what I have been trying to point out, but it seems useless, because some people don't really read or comprehend. They keep on and on like a parrot and feel that giving up on an argument is acknowledging defeat. That's fine, they can continue talking to the air, in an online forum😉

@sayali_babes- thanks for doing my job of trying to make some people see sense! I have already said this and I say it again, if everyone of you guys has got the subject of my post except he/she, you can very well see where the problem lies😉 And again, I'm not insulting, just stating a fact. I'm sure he/she will think this as a compliment too😆 Isn't this enough proof of his/hers **Viewbie's Note: Edited. Taking digs at other members, even if indirectly, is not allowed**?😆
I prefer debating with people with common sense and I'm sure so do you😛

Looks like someone just got back after finishing their treatment. It is always nice to hear them... they think the world is crazily stupid. The world on the other hand, keeps going! Yes, that is a fact...😆

Yes..some people are, as is demonstrated so conveniently, thicker than a wall.😆 On the other hand, thanks for getting the "fact" so quick, quite paradoxical ain't it?😉😛

I do agree with you. I mean, I do love a good old love story but you know it is really popular and other relationships are getting sort of ignored. Look at Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behena Hai (Star Plus) ... a really good show because it shows sisterhood and love , not just love. If there were more shows like EHMMBH then perhaps it would have been better 😃 There are so many relationships other than love - friendship, brothers, sisters, mother-daughter, father-son and MANY MANY MORE! I do agree with you but I think there should be an equal amount of ALL genres and relationships 😊

IMO conflict is a commoner underlying theme in most of the movies or soaps. Conflict could be social, physical, emotional, moral .Even the romantic stories have conflict in them .

^ Yeah, there is no story without conflict I guess. In fact many says conflict is one major aspect of novel writing, along with plotting, characterization, settings and themes. I have only read fan-fictions that are devoid of any conflicts and trust me, a conflict-less life is the most boring thing, like ever. 😆
