Well the Govt has clearly stated that they do not want any part of the wealth.

I hope its use is properly monitored.
"Chief Minister Oomen Chandy has said that the state government would not stake any claim to the treasure, valued at nearly Rs 1 lakh crore, which was uncovered at Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram. The chief minister while speaking to the media said the treasure should be kept at the temple itself. Chandy also said that the government would provide top level security to the temple."
The wealth is still open to criminal gangs robbing it. Hope they get them insured.

I guess the premiums would be pretty large too.

I hope it is the same with every Temple.
But they must be searcing all the Temples in Kerala for gold now.
Lucky the British did not get to the gold earlier.

Definitely . I believe they are still hanging on to some of the ill gotten stolen treasures.
But the greatest wealth of India is its spiritual heritage.

The Rajas are happy, they are the caretakers.😉
The Politicians are happiest, they are beneficiaries.

Govt has clarified they will not touch it.
Hope there is no wealth tax.
Some items will find great value if auctioned off.
I wonder if some neighboring countries will want to claim them too n accuse India of taking them long ago. 😆
Hope Britain too returns the Diamonds stolen.
