So, given I sleep all afternoon and half evening, I dun dream.

There is one incident in particular which kind of tugs at me, though. I am an absolute freedom-freak, and I feel everybody conspires against it, and my obsession with independence is fierce. So this reminder of alleged conspiracy aroused once whilst I was asleep at night, it was rather dramatic and I reckon, I was stuck somewhere closed, and my relatives were being rather harsh on me, severe and I remember waking up all teary, dint know you could be emotional while you are asleep. But it did oddly make sense as it has a logical connection with my character. So, dreams, if they occur at all do hold relevance, I believe. Must be a science behind it, is there?

Yes we tend nit to hold ourselves back in dreams and are mire willing to express our feelings and fears.
Day time often we tend to supress our feelings and I guess it gets embedded in our subconscious.
Fear is a powerful tool and many fear ghosts and demons and they creep into our lives thru dreamsšŸ˜†.

There is a scientific explanation to most dreams. Except when we dream of lottery numbers and they come true.

Funny that often dreams may hold a message or something. At times there is a psychic connection.
I once saw an old friend (whom I seldom contact) in a dream and he was smiling and said something to me. My first thought was that I hoped he had not left us. Upon dropping him an email he replied that he had just recovered from a serious bout of pneumonia.
There are of course the early morning spiritual dreams n visions and at times dreams are induced by overeating.

By visualizing we can create our own dreams too.šŸ˜†

Am the author of my dreams,I dont feel much difference, whether I saw it when asleep or when awake...its all depend on my imagination...someone told b4 that, dreaming is nothing bt our incompleteness, actualy we should invent a machine to record our dreams!! lol šŸ˜›šŸ˜†

When I was still just managing to sleep at night, I slept dreamless so probably everything my subconscious only embarks, eeh? Though, whenever I did, it was basically just irrational. I even tend to forget what I dreamed bout, crazy thing.
@Bold: That ain't dreaming, that is like psychic.

Some say a dreamless deep sleep is very refreshing. I guess dreams can be turned into science too and studied. Those dreams that are very clear and powerful are often classified as visions and they appear as real as our present world. I had one such experience.
There are many dream types and sometimes our questions are answered too.
Most dreams are basically thoughts and desires taking various shapes.

Yes to the awakened life is a dream too.
We can make our own dreams n stories.
I guess some keep a dream diary too. Hypnosis by Edgar Cayce went deep into the subconscious n past lives too.
Next step in dreams is prophecy I guess.

I get tooo many dreams, barely do I ever get sound dreamless sleep.. šŸ¤” 😳

Do they mean anything?

IDK.. when it's about something or someone..say for example - my exams, not finishing the exam on time, or something related to it. It does mean I'm really worried about exams. I have gotten many dreams where I was finding my mother or I've seen myself referring to a strange lady as my mom in like 2 dreams I've got. IDK, why I get such dreams related to my mother.. šŸ˜•

I also get dreams where I'm runing away from someone or something... 😳

some scientists say there's a relation between dreams and PAST LIVES.. ???

I find this really strange but years ago I too had this dream of a lion pacing outside our house trying to get in through a locked front door. parents were away and me with my younger sis and brother inside the house. I remember myself more angry than scared .As I watched it through the peephole in the door and decided that i had enough and would drive it off (with god knows what ) it sudenly turned into an old lady that had visited us a few days back and somehow given me very bad vibes without any reason. As I got ready to open the door I suddenly woke up and the dream ended .I never had that dream again.
