for me fb and other media like IF is better since I can express my views and points without worrying about my facial expressions , well emoticons do help, but if responsibly used social media is a good mode of communication.
face to face specially with family is very important , and living away from home for years, I crave to just have a glimpse of my folks.
both are important mode of communication.

Facebook is classic in times it helps you find people you haven't met in ages. But, we guys are more into adding-tagging shit with creatures we see everyday. Facebook's got demerits, its basic feature is helping people get along, and that saves its grace.

Face-to-face is the whole thing, Facebook is a theoretical application of cat-to-elephant fights and befriending and setting statures. When you watch it, its always better. Spectating, always though.

Apart from the part marked in blue, the rest of it went over my head. Especially the 'cat-to-elephant fights' part.

Let me explain. ⭐️

First, I believe that Facebook is only useful to get along with people who we scarcely get to meet. But, usually you would find people tagging their friends in dumb photos. And when I say demerit, I mean that this sucks up time.

Cat-to-elephant refers to the varying sizes of people, and then I mean that Facebook is used for regular things most people do like fights between anybody the size of a cat to the size of an elephant, mushy friendship proposals and always wanting to be 'cool', your number of friends show how cool you are, or your status or the picture in display.

@Zorrro: How about, Google the word?

I am not comprehensive, okay I know.
But well, this can make sense cause it is personal.
I always spectate these fashions I highlighted and it is almost nauseating, hardly amusing is what I meant to say, basically.

See, even I think they are awesome to watch!
But the thing on internet is, the size you are does not matter - people will get mushy, and people will fight as if this business going on is eternal and lifesaving.
Facebook's just a sophisticated teenager's Orkut and a dimwit's Twitter.
Get the drift? 🤓

true to an extent. It will all depend on the maturity and interests of the people on FB. If we have more of dimwits as fri.ends then thats the sort of stuff we get on our FB wall

You can't deny they are your people, can you?
Like, as a matter of fact - I cannot correct my classmates, however much they creep me out with Facebook nonsense.

In real, it is rather easier to avoid them, given I dun speak unless I know it is a nice one-liner.
But Facebook is needed for the keeping-in-touch thing, necessary. 😳
