What's written is written. I don't feel the need to question it.

Yeah I understand. Nothing wrong in believing in creationism if it's done because one found it rational.
But even in creationism, I'd still like to know, how can we be sure that God made a cock and hen first and not two eggs, one turning out to be a cock and the other a hen?

See, according to what we believe, Bible was written by many people through the knowledge given to them by God. So God would remember right, whether He made an egg first or a hen? 😛

What are you on about?

God created evolution.
Creationism started with the egg that creatively evolved to a chicken.
God created Darwin, so that we would stop being stupid and give credit to his amazing genius.

Word!

Chicken. That's my belief based on what I've read in the Bible. Believe it if you want to, but otherwise, don't mock my belief. 😊

So what did Noah take on the ark - a rooster and a hen, or an egg that bore a rooster and an egg that bore a hen.

If Noah took eggs, then what came first would depend if the question is pre-flood or post-flood.

The Egg.

I never got why this question beaten like a dead horse for ages. The solution is simple. Evolutionary science, life evolves from unicellular organisms into multicellular beings. In the natural sequence of things the egg came well before the chicken. In fact it the egg came before the first egg laying species, which was well before chickens even existed.

Egg. Egg. Egg.

i've heard creationism is taught in quite a few schools in the US, how bad is it in your neck of the woods?

Well if the chicken came first...how did it lay eggs without the help of another chicken? Were there 2 of them?

If the egg came fist, and a chicken came out of it...how did it reproduce by itself to lay more eggs? Were there 2 of them?

I still hold my initial statement true - in the beginning there was a chicken and an egg :P
