SRK - Page 24

This topic was started by DDP as I have guessed from her post as purely a fun topic and that is the reason why there are some of the comments regarding all men being jealous and all....if this was a serious topic the comments would be totally different keeping the seriousness of the topic in view........there is nothing wrong with having a fun topic where everybody posts lightheartedly....and most of the posts don't make sense.........what is wrong is to take the members to task who just posted keeping the nature of the topic in mind........that is what DDP and I did..........of course those who want to debate can debate seriously also........but it is not right to take a member to task without knowing what her intention was....to call someone's opinion as stupid....is totally uncalled for....
There have always been topics like this and there will be in future also topics like this one where people just have fun.....and I really appreciate these kinds of topics because it is good to laugh and tease and have fun once in a while...

Before I'm done with you, sure you're entitled to your opinion, no matter how stupid or logistical it is. Just don't go all gung-ho when someone else decides to share their two bits on the same topic if it happens to conflict with your opinion. How about that for "fight round 2"?😆

The way I see it, if someone feels offended on hearing that they are entitled to express their opinions even if the opinion is stupid, then they should be overjoyed hearing that they are also entitled to express their logical opinions.

The statement was merely stating a fact, that a person is entitled to express his/her opinion irrespective of the quality (stupid or logical) of that opinion. It didn't say that so and so member's current opinions are stupid or logical. Now if someone has a problem with the fact that people are allowed to express both stupid and logical opinions over here, then there is hardly anything that can be done.

Regarding the 'all men are jealous' part, I dont remember anyone saying anything like that 😆. I was refering to a psychologist's article who was talking of 'subconscious jealousy' if you dont have a reason for hatred. And the only men I referred to as jealous as far as I can remember is the ones who hate SRK just bcos girls like him, thats all 😆. Now its made up as though someone said 'all men are jealous of SRK' 😆.

As you said, the intention of this post was light but people are getting agitated and angry and attacking your personal character even. Thats why I changed the title.

Of course you won't remember. You edited it out (your second post) a couple of hours ago, which if I may point out without being accused of personal attack, is a very very unethical thing to do (editing and then denying).

This is the reason why I requested this topic to be closed, as I really dont think any more healthy discussions can take place. When RTH dint close the topic, I thought I will edit the title and 'instigating' posts to avoid further fights and now that has backfired on me as ACCUSATION NO. 2. Because I edited my title and posts to avoid further fights, now I am also Unethical 😆.

And Suoro you are the one who always tells to read properly and try and understand posts, so are you able to understand the intention of my actions? So you think I changed all this bcos I got scared whether someone will cross check my information, right? You dont know me but let me tell you one thing, I never resort to such cheap things. If I havent done something, I dont have to be scared of anyone or resort to all this.

Soumya....if u choose to go by the literal meaning thats OK....that is the only reason I didn't bring it up yesterday but somethings are implied....if I am fighting with u tooth and nail and then I use that kind of sentence about ur opinion....it would be obvious what I mean.....u can choose to take it literally.....I don't...
