Why can't we accept that Hindi and English are two official languages of our nation.

From my perspective my mother tongue is a dying language. My need to preserve it over Hindi or other languages is not out of misplaced superiority, but just an affinity towards my families history and culture. Either way, I do know Hindi and Marathi fluently. Haan transliteration mei gadbad ho jaati hai. Par zyaada languages bolo to confusion ho jaata hai.

I am not the one raising objections here - especially for angilicized names. I was only making a point for all the "Bharat" proponents here. For name sake, people are marney-maarney per utaaroo. But when it really boils down to Hindi as raashtrabhasha vs their maatrabhasha --- the patriotism takes a back seat and regionalism raises its ugly head. Uss waqt sara deshprem ghaas cahrney chala jata hai!

There goes Mera Bharat Mahaan!!!
Should have been: Majhya tumchya julta tara madhur suranchya barasti dhara
But it's more like: bhaad mei gaya sur tumhara mera sur hai sab sey nyara!
