And finally before bed, a task from G's list for Ajnu. Even though Ajnu never came here tonight as she told she would. 😭😡

I said I was sorry. I had four hours of sleep the night before and I was really unwell yesterday. I wanted to sleep, but couldn't fall asleep. It was awful. Then this morning .... well, y'know.

All right, I did a task where I gave people images. Now I shall assign them characters. If you do not watch movies like I do, that is sad. Go Google the characters, it might be worth it. Watch the movies, it might make it better.

Debayon as Ross Geller: My son Debo here is such a geek, just like me. And also such a puppy dog over his forum wife. This lovable awkward paleontologist has to be Debo. Lets not forget he got the hottest girl on television.

Hahaha, I liked this, clever! So ALD is Rachel? Lucky Debo. 😛

Cloddy as Chandler Bing: With a last name that goes Bing, it can suit no one but Cloddy. The guy with that off beat sense of humor, the clown antics making every one laugh, yet being vaguely thoughtful and intellectual at times. Cloddy is Chandler Bing along with his inexplicable qualities.

Did the past AV play a role in this selection? I like Chandler! But I think Cloddy is funnier and smarter than Chandler. 😆

Krystal_Watz as Regina George: Evil takes a human form. She may seem to be your regular #%$%#@%$(% spewing feisty fighter, but there is so much more than that.

But, but, but .... never mind. Not worth it. 😆

AD as Sue Sylvester: This delightfully twisted character is a perfect fit. Hidden somewhere within is a soft woman, but its all masked up with hardened determination and rage. And if you are a certain Will Schuester you better watch out.

But Sue Sylvester is perfectly evil AND genius. AD is clearly missing one of the two .... you decide which one. 😛 Better yet, let POH figure it out. 😆

Baz as Draco Malfoy: JK Rowling's on poor little rich boy. Good at heart with not an evil bone in his body, he is constantly bearing the burden of the Malfoy family name and the will of Voldemort.

WHAT?!? 😕 Never mind. Anything I say or do will be used against me.

POH as Will Schuester: Ah the delightful lovable director of New Directions. He can be such an angsty and confused character with directions in his life. So many choices to make, so many directions in life. But when it comes to guiding his show choir, he always knows the right words to say. But Will Schuester better keep his guard up for Sue, She has sworn to bring him down.

Will Schuester is HOTTTTTTTT! Now that I've said that POH will freak out. 😆

Ajnu as Maria: How do you solve a problem like Maria? Maria has to be one of the most beloved and likable characters ever portrayed in cinema. No matter who you are, you can't help but love this unusual nanny. So full of contradictions feisty, headstrong, marches to her own drum, a rebel of her own, yet so soft, so caring, so homely, and with a love for music.

I hate that show and find her extremely irritating. Thanks. 😆

Although the impulse at the spinal cord causes the reflex, the pain signal continues onto the brain. The pain signal goes to the thalamus, from which it is directed to various parts of the brain for interpretation. Different areas of the cortex answer questions like what caused the pain, the strength of the pain, and comparing it to past similar experiences. Signals are also sent to the limbic system, where emotions are initiated. Depending on what kinds of feelings are associated with the sensation, anger, tears, etc will generate. It generates a reaction to the pain - again depending on your mood, past experiences with similar injuries, etc. Along with that, the brain sends a message back to the cite of injury through efferent neurons. This message could be, for example, releasing endorphins etc that diminish the pain messages.

Prostaglandins is a chemical that carry the pain signals from the cite of injury to the nerve. Pain killers like Aspirin and Ibuprofen block prostaglandins, and our brain stops receiving the pain signals. So the body is fooled into thinking the pain no longer exists because the brain is not receiving the signal.

Stronger pain killers like morphine work a little differently by initiating the release of endorphins (the body's own "pain killers"). Endorphins trigger happiness and that is how people get "high". And that is also why people get addicted to these strong prescription drugs. Lots of drug abusers in California especially ... they are always looking for Vicodin in some shape or form!

I hope I am not providing you with any incorrect information.

Thanks. So, in order to be relieved from pain, it looks like either we need to prevent pain signals from reaching the brain or alter the perception of the pain inside the brain, from that of one sensation (anger / tears etc) to another sensation (happiness). To do the latter, it looks like we need external agents (like drugs) to kick-start the production of what is already inside (endorphins).

If you have the time only then answer this: I wonder how the limbic system interprets first time injuries? For example, if I am shot for the first time in my life, how does the brain generate a reaction? Also, pain is not always physical. People grieve when they lose their near and dear. In which case, where is the "cite of injury"?

I might have more questions, feeling lazy to Google stuff up.
