Now that the Debate contest is done with. Whew! 😆 Its time to move on to the next contest. Now here is something for the souls who really do not have much interest in debating or arguing things our. For the more creative ones who like to express themselves in many ways. Yes, as some of you had asked for - the next in store is a creative writing contest.
Since the old thread is overrun with entry #3 and its spam aftermath. I am restarting the instructions in a new fresh page.

Your task for creative writing is to pick one picture story and write a story based on it. The story you pick need not be an official entry from the contest. There are several just for fun entries too that you may pick too. However, the story must have been posted before June 27th on the thread. So get your creative juices flowing to pen down how you were inspired by these images, what stories came in your mind and create your own unique story.
Along with your short story.Short introduction on which picture story you picked and why. Please provide link to that story page or post. Your title should be the same as the title of the picture story.
DO NOT POST YOUR STORY HERE.
You will PM your story to me. I will then post the story anonymously in the contest thread for others to read and enjoy.
Deadline for submission is July 17th.
One entry per person. No submissions after the 17th. Story should be within IF guidelines, no explicit words, or graphic content. There is no minimum or maximum length requirements - but it should be a short story. Consider your audience. Do not post your story or make a post on which is yours till after the results are announced. Everyone is responsible for their own private integrity.
The polls for judgment will be open after the 17th and will run for one week. There will be two winner sets. One will be junta choice set and one will be judges choice set. If we have good participation - I will probably include more categories like funniest story, most touching story, most romantic story for junta to vote on. That is if and only if we have several entries.
The masses will have a will of their own. However, these are the judges considerations and the masses can follow too if they wish. Being a creative writing contest, definitely creativity. How creative was the story, how unique was it, how cleverly and interestingly someone changed the picture story to words. Basically who showed the best of creative juices.
This being a writing contest, I expect some basic writing mechanics. Run a basic spell and grammar check. Follow proper paragraph and sentence structure. Nothing advanced or fantastical - just simple basics.
