I am thinking of mailing a comprehensive letter to the good folks who maintain the lexicon, to abolish the word enlightening and have only one entry for the word enlightened. There should be no other tense associated with this word. It should be an adjective and have the same meaning associated with the concept of infinity, which is factually "unknown".
