Oh man, my grammar is so bad. 😆 I meant bakri. 😆 Mom and dad always make fun of my grammar, I try so hard to fix it, but its set in stone now. Dad always asks khana kha liya and I say "maine khana ka chuka" ... my argument is "khana" is a masculine term. 😆 Too bad Urdu doesn't work that way. 😆

Reminds me of when I used to teach Hindi to first graders who spoke only Malayalam or English 😆

Easy way to solve this - use "liya" instead of "chuka".

😆 I try but it always slips. Oh well ... mom and dad should be glad I can speak somewhat fluently. They always wanted us to learn both languages. Most kids that I grew up with here can barely utter as-salam-alaikum, even my siblings. 😆
