We all have different perspectives about our circumstances. But do you consider yourself blessed or do you feel cursed having to face the daily grind😃

Q) Do I feel blessed to be born as an Indian?
A) No

Q) Do I feel blessed to be born?
A) No

Q) Do I feel blessed?
A) No

Reasons:

1) I didn't ask anybody to put me here on this earth, in the first place.

2) Feeling blessed indicates that one has been given a favored status by a higher authority. While I have every human reason to be content with what I have, I am not going to be content till I find the higher authority, the "giver", and ask the authority why the favored status has not been accorded to one and all. In other words, why is everyone not blessed? In the event that there is no higher authority, there is no question of anyone being blessed. It should then be addressed as fortune or misfortune, luck or ill-luck.

3) There is no higher limit to getting lucky. "Luckily I was born in India" could be changed to "Luckily I was born in India as a rich person" which could be further changed to "Luckily I was born in India as a rich person who is also politically powerful" to one more level such as "Luckily I was born in India as a rich person who is also politically powerful who didn't get shot by a rival" and so on ad nauseam.

Mr K , I ought to have known better B4 posting such a topic ! Actually I was trying to get some new perspectives to help with an assignment But Ill get to my assgn later Let me edit my topic first & make it broader. 😛" The authority " is going to have to answer lot of questions from U shud U happen to meet him .Wish U All the best for the session 😆 As for granting equal favours to all it would no longer be a favour in that case. Its possible there was a level field in the beginning but the players chose to play it their own way 🤔

I feel blessed to be born as an Indian. A few metres on other side of its border would have been a horror story 🤣

I think everyone is blessed in more ways than one. A lot depends on how we accept whatever that comes our way. Often for most of us have learnt to be content with what we have.
There is no curse worse than ignorance and not knowing what the hell is happening to us and what is life and living all about; the value of goodness and appreciating the value of peace of mind.
Things in life are much more than what they appear to be. Good things can be poison coated and bad things sugar coated.
I am just glad that I managed to learn a few good mantras n read a few good books. The rest of the things that come my way are all complimentary.

There should have been no field and no players to begin with. That's how I am going to start my argument "in the court of law" (if there is one)
