Exactly my point, if he loves Pak cricketers and wanted to pick a bunch of them, nobody stopped him. Before 26/11 his team was full of Pak cricketers and no one objected to that, he still has some Pak player as a coach or trainer something, nobody seems to object to that as well. But since when Pak became "a great neighbour" for India. The last I heard it was a country with terrorism against India as its state policy. Does such a country fit into great neighbour category !! 😲

Apparently, he did, incase you did not notice that in DM. 😆

Also, I think he should issue a public apology.

For what Debu? For expressing his opinion which is his right? Irrespective of what the content of his speech was, he has as much the right of Freedom of Speech as anyone else, including SS. As Gauri very rightly pointed out - if today SS is limiting his freedom to speak up his own mind - where will they go tomorrow? This sorta reminds me of the taboo that the Islamic culture have against freedom of Speech. Just take a look at Rushdie and Nasreen, and you'll see what I mean. What if 'mild' organisations like SS turn out to be as violent as Al-Queeda in the near future? SRK simply gave his opinion; don't like it, then go and debate about the matter with him face to face, or do something to establish your point of view, instead of attacking him like crazy, as if he had cannibalised a bunch of people or somethin'. (Btw, this post is not directed at you Debu).

Ye kya comedy hai !! Kya pakata hai
I thought he would say something substantial but it was just nonsense rhetoric against India and Hindus. Pakaoo adami hai.

I read somewhere Zaid Hamid kuch Wake up Pak youth programme chala raha hai. If this video is a sample tab tu pak youth zaroor wake up ho jayega. Kahin usko ye idea Wake Up Sid se tu nahin aya? Lagata hai ye Zaid Hamid chupkar Hindi movies dekhata hai 😆 and phir anti-India anti-Hindu ka raag alapkar Pakis ko bhadkata hai. Iski funding kahan se aati hai bhai logon?

Waisey ye kis zamaney ke baatein kar raha hai?

Btw, KSA do not, if I'm not wrong, accept non-Muslims into their land, and we usually look down upon it as a form of prejudice. On the same note...

What is KSA?

Err...um, umm, ummm, ummmm...well, not really related to the thread at hand, is it?

Because, there IS a problem within this religion (Islam), which the majority of Muslims keep on ignoring, white-washing, pushing under the carpet, or turning their backs and saying - "But they had been taken out of the context", which does not, in any way, shape or form, remotely solve the problem we are having. Simply ignoring or saying that things have been taken out of context isn't going to help anything; if anything, it makes the matter worse. Part of what makes the issue even more confusing is that while some Muslims keep on saying that Islam is a religion of "peace", some other Muslims go on blowing up others, or using barbaric punishments for silly issues. Until and unless Muslims all over the world come forward and acknowledge, accept, and fix the problems to end such atrociously - Islam will be continued to be looked down upon. I really can't blame the non-Muslims, (and to some extent the Muslims too) who feels that way. The problem could very well be of the interpretation and not the actual religion - but even that needs to be fixed. But this is beside the point, so better we not get into all these until the need arises...besides, I am not terribly fond of scrutinizing any religion, since it hurts others sentiment, and I 'd have/had a few bitter experiences on going overboard with criticizing religions.

Usually religions evolve over the years but that takes like 1000 or more yrs. So unless more and more people who follow Islam come out in the open and try to solve the exact issues things won't change. There have been and are problems with other religions also but a large section of people who follow these religions strongly voice their opinion against those bad things. Things like religion cannot be absolute and static.

I have come across many Muslim people and each of them says this about the other that s/he is not a true muslim. Now who decides who is a true muslim!! I remember watching on TV a couple of yrs back, 2 gals in black burqa saying Sharukh Khan is not a true muslim, don't remember what was the controversy back then. So now going by all that I would believe that Taliban people should be the true muslim if one has to follow all those things to become a true muslim. 😕

....which is what I'm trying to say in a way. However, there is something called "saying the right thing at the right time". SRK is igniting the fire and making matters more worse and complex. But again, it's all for the attention for his next movie. All attention seeing tactics.

The most famous excuse I have heard all the time is "this/that has been taken out of context". Why can't people simply understand that what was applicable 1000 yrs bk cannot be forced in today's time? Otherwise sab wapis medieval time mein pahunch jayenge.
