yes i know that they are different things the communism, the totalitarianism and the authoritarianism. the point that i want to emphasize to debayon is hyperinflation is not only faced by communist countries and restriction to freedom of speech and action and ideas are not limited only to communism.

Military is one of the worst things to have, no different from Foreigners running the country. Both are equally bad but Foreigners can be more cruel.

I know that. But Zimbabawe is more or less like a communist country minus the freedom of speech. The president spend like a some million dollars on his inaugration while his country people are dying of hunger. The thing is that your condition depends on the country you're living in but since the post is talking about communism, I'm limiting myself to communism. If every guy gets an equal amount of pay, then what would happen? People would pick the easiest of jobs. That would lead to low GDP as everyone is busy relaxing and other countries would stop trading with that country. Then where will the country get it's revenue from?

dude it's still not communist country. communist countries are like north korea, china, cuba, but zimbabwe is not a communist country. and the zimbabwe people do not have freedom of speech, mugabe lost election and he didn't want to abdicate his position as the head of government to the winning party. people are still able to find a job with different paying rate just that the inflation in zimbabwe is soaring way too high and there is a lot of corruption and low economic growth.

You don't get me, do you? Everything has pros and cons. It just so happens that communism has more cons than the pros(unless you are Marxist, which is plausible). You see, not even one communist country has risen to the top. Laos has issues, so does Cuba and North Korea. China turned more liberal, so even though they call theselves 'communist', they really aren't. On the other hand, look at the democratic governments, look at how well they are doing mostly.

yes but it also does not changed the fact that there are also democratic countries which do not work as efficiently as it was expected. there are a lot of countries in africa which are under the democratic government but still among the poorest countries in the world. and there are authoritarian, totalitarian regimes which are really successful. such as china, singapore, the countries in the middle east such as uae, etc etc.

i do understand what you are saying, but what i'm saying is hyperinflation or bad economic development does not always have to be under communist government.

dude china is a communist country despite the fact that it opens its market and underwent a very big economy revolution and don't you think china isn't successful?? the chinese gained economic transformation in the last 30 years in what the other countries of europe gained in 100 years.

and you are the one who brought up dictatorship dude. when i said the zimbabwe is not a communist country but still it is having hyperinflation you said zimbabwe is dictatorship. the ussr used to be a very successful before it collapsed.
