Why are you gals getting so angry?? He is right in a sense if you think of the biological clock.

No I'm not trying to prove anything. Qwerty's choice of words might be wrong but it is true that the fertile period of life for women is lesser compared to men. That might be one of the reasons behind girls being the younger one in a relationship just as one of the reason is women reach maturity earlier.

Wow, some of our male members really need to think through their word choice before they right down things on the forum.

Someone was saying that a woman's fertility is less compared to a man's. However, women do mature faster - their biological clock hits fertility earlier, so therefore it also ends earlier. Again, nothing to do with one being more degraded or anything. But yes, men do have a longer period of fertility than women do.

It was a myth i dont think its an issue now because now we have many examples of mothers who gave birth to their first child when they were in their 40's ...e.g Madonna ,Susan Sarandon,Cherie Booth , wife of British Prime Minister, Tony Blair ,Brooke Shields and in our Indian film Industry we have Farah khan ,Madhuri Dixit ( she was in her mid and late 30's).And the latest is woman who was in her 70's living in rajasthan village gave birth to a healthy baby . It is a matter of personal choice not a biological burden on women.

i think that way if we think logically then woman's fertility is less compared to a man's, their biological clock hits fertility earlier, so therefore it also ends earlier, then that way they should be elder. like they will be mature one in the family, and they should be ahead over here also.

also i know that in marwaris' women r suppose to be elder than men, bcoz they r supposed to die married, if someone has watched zubaida they will know.

And I thought we were talking about AGE differences.... Hahahaha, just kidding!!

Actually, that statement stands true for the biological aspects in most cases...

But coming to the point, we all know he was not talking about the biological aspect solely, or am I the only girl mistaken over it?? Lol...
