if you read the rehath maryada.. a pure sikh is not allowed to cut hair or eat meat.. and plus.. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.. hunted animals to give those animals mukhti.. not to eat..

and abt the argument on eating plants..

i eat veggies.. because i believe that it is morally wront to eat anything that is given birth to... just like us humans.. animals are also given birth to.. where plants arent.. thats why I eat veggies!

but in the end.. eating meat is always your decision.. i dont eat meat not necesarily cuz my religion says so.. but because I personally believe it is immoral..

also, meat has bones or past living organs in them.

Yes but did you know that a plant or vegetable can actually cry?! Hust because we cannot hear it does not mean it is right. Also scientists cannot say for sure that a vegetable cannot feel pain because pain is registered in the nucleus of a living cell. Vegetables have nucleuses in their living cells so therefore they can feel pain!

Just because veggies don't give birth in the way we do does not mean it is better to eat them instead of animals. Also vegetables can feel pain as much as animals can and can vegetables even cry! By the way, if we stopped eating animals and started eating just vegetables, the animals would die any way because of lack of food and it would also disrupt the food chain.

(btw.. do you know when the 4th movie is coming out)
okay..

animal = central nervous system
central nervous system = brain & spinal cord
brain = controls everything we do (speech, movement, memory, etc. ) the brain controls the beating of heart & emotions.. brain gives us power to perform things.. THEREFORE.. brain gives us ability to show our emotions.. like cry..

plants = NO central nervous system
therefore
plants = NO brain.. therefore.. they have no way of communications.. no brainpower.. so how do they have the ability to cry?

please don't get me wrong here.. im not trying to be sarcastic or anything.. just wanted to get my point across

no hard feelings! 😊

Infact, we bengalis celebrate the end of Durga Puja with a feast that has fish and meat !! 😊

I don't think its the religon , it should be your choice to decide how you feel about eating animals for your satisfaction .
I am a non vegetarian who is aspiring to become a vegetarian someday , but my difficulty is my hubby is hard core meat eater , so its a pain to cook separately for both of us different things everyday !! I love food , if its vegetarian - i need at least a daal , and subji , and for hubby non- veg . Imagine i'll end up in the kitchen all day !! Thats my big problem!

I am a vegetarian now. Eggs are OK but NO MEAT. Vegetarian diet is much more healthier. 👏
