i think what's right for one may be wrong for the other. in none of the hindu scriptures it's mentioned that hindus should not eat meat. it is just a choice. most hindus don't eat cows (beef) because cows are considered 'kamadhenu' and worshipped. but in kerala & goa, the hindus eat beef because of the influence of christian culture. that doesn't make them less hindus.it's just the matter of how we adapt to our surroundings. it is our choice. vegetarians will advocate living on plants and non-vegetarians will support eating meat and the battle continues 😛 😃 😊. then there are also vegans who are against milk products too.

dear vegans,
if our good old cave dwelling ancestors though like u the human race(what little was left of it as it would be a paap to kill an animal that was attacking u 😆 ) would still be living in caves munching on berries.....
man was born a carnivore... but as we evolved we could afford to make choices...
i was personally a vegetarian for the first fifteen years of my life, not because of any religious reasons as i am a malayalee and we are allowed to eat any meat 😎.. then i tried it and didnt mind it.... dont love it dont eat met everyday, still would prefer a yummy veg meal anyday... but cannot understand what the big fuss is all about...y'know to each their own and all that
so now my personal opinion is what u eat is u'r choice baby!! 👍🏼

she didnt say that they felt pain, she was aruing about the fact that some ppl said that they dont like to eat things that used to live once...

just pointing that out! 😃

I think that eating meat is a good thing. It gives you nourishment that vegetables would not give you. Also, people say that eating meat is wrong because it used to be a living thing. If that is the case, I can also say that eating vegetables and fruit is also wrong! This is because they are also living things! Did you know that plants and vegetables and fruit can also cry?! However humans cannot hear their cry because it is too high pitched!

apart from that.. i still believe in being a vegetarian cuz i dont see the point of making your stomach the graveyard of animals.. when you can just as well get as much proteins from other stuff... i just think it is completely immoral to kill animals for your wants.. especially when you dont understand them... animals too have feelings.. and have human-type relationships with their children... its just that we dont understand them.. how would you feel eating your pet dog for dinner?..

PROUD TO BE A VEGETARIAN !!!

Sorry but it doesn't say ANYWHERE in Guru Granth Sahib Ji that u can't eat meat. Also, Guru Gobind Singh ji used to hunt animals so why wud they do that? just for fun😕 I don't think so😊 and plz no personal attacks Thanx😛

well..im a hindu...and perticular im in swaminarayan faith...where it is written in shikshapatri(like gita) that if u eat meat, u r simply killing an animal and eating it..and...how would it feel if somebody kills ur family member n eats it....ewwwwww 🤢 ...thats one reason i don't eat meat b/c its in my religion n other is that i enjoy being a vegeterian, i get all my proteins n nutritions from my green vegetables 😉
