I have read from a book, that he answer to why there are so many millions and billions of people in the world (than there were in the past) despite of a God actively creating any new human beings and reincarnation being the only process how we human beings are being born over and over again in this world is that -- at the time of reincarnation, our soul divides, and in the next incarnation, we keep on searching for the other 'half' of our self. That is why sometimes we feel such a inexplicable, mysterious spiritual connection with a person we have never met, and is not related through any physical means. The other half of our self is what we call 'soul mate'.

What say of this theory?

That's why I love the Internet, where I can find people like myself in thoughts. In real life, I would never get the nerve to speak about these things. 😆

sounds like a nice theory but doesn't cut with me. There are so many of us because, I believe, once one is born as a human, they get stuck in this form till they attain moksha. Not many attain moksha and they keep on copulating on top of that😆 Now, go fish why there are so many of us on earth😆

Do you agree that our actions are dependent on the socio-cultural conditioning we receive since birth?
Answer this one first and lets take it from there.

Yes...yes, I do. People are more prone to believe in things than not. A person's character, attitude, behavior, and every thing noticed in the later life is the product of what we have received in our childhood; so yes, our actions are indeed dependent on the socio-cultural norms we have been fed up with.
However, as a person grows up, and is mentally capable of understanding the natural world around him/her, I believe, the person have the capability of going against those teachings they were taught, and come into his/her own conclusion.
