For any lang to survive its adaptability is imp. Both Eng & Hindi have been been quick in adopting words from other lang. Richness of its literature or Hist does not guarantee survival eg sanskrit- a rich lang but out of sync with time !

To me Hindi is one beautiful language and due to intercaste marriage we taught our kids hindi. They can understand our mother tongue to and speak fluent hindi. Although being born here in US, they could have just skipped it as most kids but now they thank us for being harsh on them to learn hindi.
It is a very sweet lang and no way my mother tongue is gettign threatned by it. It is a universal mode of communication and love different styles specially bhojpuri, khadi boli, Lucknow style....just sweet :)
Hindi hamari jhakaaas hai, chahe kuch bhi tum kaho
Aoor kismat haare saath hai, jalane walle jala karain
Now is this not so sweeeetttttttttttttttttttttt 😆

I won't blame the Tamils for their opposition to Hindi if this is the kind of reaction we get to see from Hindi supporters.

don't you think that by enforcing hindi language as a compulsory language in india it will lead to disunity in india??

Kyon Souro ???? Maana ke hindi gaane ka thod mode ker sadi si shayari mari hai....but what it has to do with hindi supporters?????

I support all languages and dialects and mine is way supeior then English....but will always prefer Hindi as one sole language all over teh language as it will connect all our nation.....Why is it so hard??? Problem is prejudice

Apne aoor apni bhasha pur garv karo, ghamand nahi

Prejudice is opinion without judgement , with out even trying to see value of learning additional language a judgement is ruled out????
Is Tamil not with India???? Will they not prefer to see India?? Or even today they will prefer to limit themself and be confined to their state only????
I may have limited knowledge on various language Tamilnadu was the first state with 100% literacy and I am sure they are all over world doing just great and bringing fame and money to their families...but I am also sure if they made friends with punjabi, bengali, gujrati etc, or moved to their state, they would love to communicate in Hindi
Calling Hindi supporters o Anti hindi is what brings people like Bal Thackrey in power
Think what if you do want a language spoken all over India...just for once forget why it should be, should you push your language or should you support the is majorily spoken.
\
You know what , all this sounds like Bhains ke aage been bajana to me now
Forget everything....Punjabi should be national language :)

Not sure if this was for me Rongna.......yet the answer is no. It will rather bring more unity. You will not be a stranger should you move to a different part of India for any reason. You will not feel out of place.

but one of the reason why pakistan and bangladesh broke apart was because western pakistan was trying to impose everything towards the eastern pakistan which is present day bangladesh. this includes language the urdu as opposed to the majority of population of bangladesh which is the bengal people and it gets complicated with all the complains of language and stuffs that leads to seperation of these two states.
