Doubt Vs Gossip!!?

Oh, both could be the two sides of the same coin as well. For example, if one is prevented from airing their doubts in open, they may end up airing them in private...and that's when a "doubt" may end up being a "gossip"😆

Doubt starts with ' I wonder if......' Sometimes all the 'wondering' can lead to a 'wandering if thoughts' which makes one speak with conviction and become gossip.

Doubt is when you are unsure of something..gossip is even if you are unsure you just dont care...😆

Gossip starts with ' you know so and so is.....' and is it just is 'gossip'

By nature both are harmless. The users do the honors of making 'doubt' and 'gossip' into something malicious

Doubt is natural...It's part of the instinct for self-preservation. It's not gr8 to be like that all the time, but right or wrong... it is what it is- an honest expression of uncertainty about someone/ something. .

Gossip has a dishonest basis... it's often not true, but even when true, the intent is to sensationalize... to draw attention to what one has to say... by distorting/ disregarding facts, spicing up... there is little regard for the impact this might have on an innocent person. Nasty habit.

Right or wrong, we all doubt each other. However, if we completely trust someone, doubt should not be there. Sometimes lack of trust leads to doubt. Other times, too much trust leads to no doubt which leads to blindly believing everything that person tells you. So in some ways, doubting is somewhat healthy for a relationship.

Gossip - yes, we all say its bad, but we all do it. The ones that proclaim gossip to be a hideous crime are usually the ones that have bitter truths that they are helplessly trying to hide. Sure, we shouldn't do it, but neither should the ones that are actually the source of the gossip go about flaunting their deeds. Gossip is bad, very bad, but passing on info as a means of warning isn't gossip, and shouldn't be labeled as such. Some are just jealous because the two peas in a pod won't make space for a third pea.
