Re-inventing themselves as hosts of celebrity shows is the ideal comeback for actors.
Small screen is larger than life today, what with big stars making an even bigger comeback as hosts and anchors. And with Big B being the trend setter that he is, and opting to debut as a host himself of a game show on TV, there has been a spate of actors keen to sample the same glamour.
Short of re-launching their careers yet again, there has been no looking back for these stars. So, is anchoring the next big thing in the entertainment business.
Rajeev Khandelwal, whose only claim to fame till recently was the character of Sujal that he essayed in a daily soap, is now discovering his potential as a host of a game show. And the audience is lapping it up. 😃 (damn rite we all are) 😛 Rajeev confirms, "Anchoring is no mean job. The show runs on the host's shoulders.
And considering the recognition that one gets through this, it is indeed being looked as the best option to get instant name and fame."
