Is your cold war still on with Ektaa Kapoor?
There is no cold war, at least from my side. For me, Ektaa is just one of the producers that I have worked with, and undoubtedly, she is one of the most successful and powerful people in the industry.
But our thoughts didn't match and I started to find my character unrealistic, so I left the serial.
People remember you more as Sujal than Rajeev. What's your take on that?
I am quite glad about this. Though there is no doubt that I would like people to remember me by my real name, but I think it was the power of my performance that people still associate me with my character.
What do you have to say about your link-up with your co-star Aamna?
Well, if people are talking about us, then it means that we are two rocking stars. And trust me, the day I will start dating her I will myself tell everyone about it. Till then, I will let the people do the talking. 😉
How difficult was it to break your image of a 'hopelessly in love' man to a small-screen action hero?
It was not too difficult. Within a year of leaving Balaji, I worked with Ketan Mehta and then in a detective series for which I even got awarded.
And now, I am hosting a game show about which I am really excited, as finally, people will get to see the real Rajeev Khandelwal.
Now, I think it's only comedy that is left for me to try, and thankfully, I have a comic role in hand too.

hmmmmmm so i think the comic role hes talking bout is hum do humare nau, dekha kaise jawaab diya, and thankfully😉khne ka matlab yeh tha, and thankfully me and my jaan aamna are working 2gether again😉😆
