Confirmed : Varun Dhawan to romance Shraddha Kapoor in ABCD sequel

Student of the year actor Varun Dhawan and Aashiqui 2 fame Shraddha Kapoor are all set to pair up for the dance film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance sequel.

Choreographer turned director Remo D'Souza's first 3D film ABCD was a hit at the box office and now the choreographer-turned-director has decided to make a second installment of the film.

Remo has decided to cast the two heartthrobs of Bollywood in the ABCD sequel. Apparently, Varun is a proficient dancer and was inclined towards the dance film. He is now excited to work with Remo and suitably fits into the role.

Confirming the news, Remo D'Souza told DailyBhaskar, "Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are being considered for the sequel. If everything goes well, I will start shooting for the film from April, but their dates are yet to be finalized."

Remo said that the script demands the main protagonist to be a known face so we have considered Varun for the film. Also, Aashiqui 2 actress Shraddha is a lucky mascot for the sequel of the hit movies.

Aww man. I really wanted Remo to take RAGHAV!!! The whole point of the ABCD series was supposed to be about taking dancers and showing pure, raw talent. Varun seems like a decent dancer but I don't want a Bollywood hero in this! I'd much rather see Dharmesh, Puneet, Salman, Lauren, Prince, RAGHAV! Even the little kids like Rohan and Faisal would kill it!

This is disappointing. ABCD2 might just be the typical Bollywood candy-flossed lovestory...😳

EXCLUSIVE: The television actor-anchor bagged a three-film deal with UTV

Karan Wahi has been away from daily soaps after his small stint in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony TV. The actor has been busy with his anchoring commitments; we saw him in Indian Idol and now he's amusing us in Nach Baliye 6.

According to our khabru birdie, the actor has bagged a three-film deal with UTV movies. The first film under the production is Babloo Ke Jawani, a romantic comedy where the actor will play the lead role.

The second project under the banner is the sequel to Remo D'Souza's ABCD. Yes, you guessed it right! Karan will be showcasing his dancing skills in ABCD 2. Earlier, he had shaken a leg on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and we are guessing, that he managed to impress Remo enough to cast him in his movie. His third project with UTV is still under wraps.

It's a dream for most TV actors to climb the ladder and enter Bollywood. Now what is this!!!... the unique ABCD will turn to be a routine bollywood movie... The idea is bad and the actors chosen r even worse...

Isn't abcd supposed to be an all dancers movie. Varun and shraddha dance?? Well I don't see them living upto the others dancing skills

Bad move. The USP of Remo and the movie was them being successful despite having no star cast. It wont be about dance anymore and these actors arent even good on the glamor quotient, let alone dance. lol I really wanted Raghav to be the lead, he could have taken it to a new level with his unique dancing.

Hope its a rumor.

Don't think it's a rumour. Varun is definitely confirmed. And he seems like a good dancer but really, ABCD is about exceptional dancing. Not just decent or good dancing. I really wish he still takes Raghav. Even if it's for a song, it would be amazing to see him on the big screen.

Yo guys! The main leads are supposed to be known faces otherwise people won't watch it! In ABCD, the lead was prabhudeva and Ganesh acharya and they r known faces other wise no one would watch it and then the movie would end up being a disaster. And film makers don't want that. The DID contestants aren't even the supporting actors. They r just in the movie as the sidekicks. That's it. They will never be the leads. If they even do become the leads, then the movie will be a disaster and then even forget about ABCD 3
