Hey! 🤗

Sorry I got busy during the day, so I didn't get a chance to watch the episode/log in until now.

I will reply to your previous pending post in a bit.

I just wanna discuss today's episode first...I also only saw the exact performances you did. 😆 Fast forwarded the Atul-Vatsal ones and the Om-Tanay ones because they looked kind of boring. lol

Anyways...DUDEEE Raghav!! Ahhh! Rohan and Raghav were like mindblowingly AWESOME once again! 🥳

I could write a whole page gushing about this duo. TOTALLY goosebumps inducing. I'm going to have to watch this performance a few more times to absorb ALL the little details because there were just SO many. SO many aspects about war/army/patriotism/violence...etc. that Raghav and Rohan managed to capture, it's just unbelievable. The sheer INTENSITY was just unbelievable!

Raghav is SUCH a genius...I can NEVER stop saying this. For me the greatest thing about this performance was just thinking about Raghav's thought process! Like, WOW.

The way he showed actual guns/tanks/wounds/bloodshed/drops of blood...etc. etc...and yet behind all those things there were these emotions!! Ahh...seriously can't describe it...HOW did Raghav manage to CREATE something like this? It was like watching a battle unfold in front of you...

I think Farah described it best...it really does feel like time just stops when you watch Raghav's choreography.

Gosh, how can someone CAPTURE an emotion SO brilliantly?

Things like the way Rohan and Raghav were crawling on the floor during the lyrics "khoon chalaa" near the end of the performance. So GENIUS of Raghav to think of something like this...that whole move was like an army position...you know crawling on the floor like that. Yet it went with the lyrics "khoon chala" too...as if a battle/war is an ongoing process...you see drops of blood everywhere...you witness this horror happening in front of you, yet you have no choice but to keep on going and doing your duty.

Just the fact that Raghav and Rohan managed to capture that very ESSENCE. Essence of SO many emotions at once that can't be described.

At one point I loved how Raghav had this almost robotic like expression. Almost this numbness...this hollow. Numbness from getting used to these horrors...numbness from having witnessed so much.

Gahh...WHAT a genius...I have never seen THIS much sensitivity on an army/war themed dance performance before! THIS much thought process! 👏 What. an. artist.

And Rohan was SOOO brilliant too. Man he's AMAZING!

I loved Farah for giving these guys genuine, from the heart appreciation.

I can go on...I need to watch this performance again and again...there's SO much in it. What a treat.

I'm gonna have to comment about the rest of the episode in another post now...lol

I only saw 4 performances: Raghav-Rohan, Saumya-Faisal, Dharmes-Ruturaj, and Vrushali-Vaishnavi. Excuse the shortness..I'm tired 😆
Raghav-Rohan were just sooo good. I LOVED the way they began, the sheesha bit from the promo...and the bit where Raghav was laying down and Rohan was standing on him and moving..Honestly I toh am in AWE of just how smooth these 2 are as dancers and all the different moods Raghav manages to create in this lyrical slo-mo style only...
Pallo, Anu I'm waiting for you guys's analysis since you guys always put it in much better words than I ever could 😆
Saumya and Faisal were so very sweet and so graceful..Saumya toh moves like a fairy. The act was reminiscent of Mayuresh-Alisha's "Pehla Nasha" for me (and I absolutely adore that performance of their's).. I think they got shortchanged with marks though..
Vrushali-Vaishnavi. Okay who's brilliant idea was it to mix Robotics with Bharatnatyam here? I mean...it could have been veryy interesting and amazing, but Vrushali's forte is not at all robotics. She doesn't have that crispness and sharpness required for it because she hasn probably not done this before.. She's usually a decent hip-hopper but robotics is completely different...I loved her classical parts though...I really wish there was more of that. Honestly, I'd much rather watch a pure Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Mohiniattam performance from her or a semi-classical than these mash-ups that I wouldn't think of... Vaishnavi definitely stole it...because well the mix of the 2 styles worked well for her since she has done them before. Though I will defo give Vrushali credit for trying somethign new and not taking the easy way out..but I'm gonna contradict myself and again say I almost wished she had taken the easy way out..Oh well, it's okay. I'm waiting for Vrush to WOW again soon :D
I skipped Om-Tanay's acrobatia performance...wasn't really interested in it especially ater I heard the song Tera Chehra...clearly Kruti choreographed that act...and how hilarious was it to see Isha-Salman dance to the SAME song used in DID AGAIN? 😆
I think last duet was Vatsal and Atul?? I missed it..

@ bold: WORDDD. That move where Rohan is standing on Raghav. What a thought...and these two executed that SO brilliantly. SO smooth like you said.

I think Farah gave these guys the best compliment today. Raghav's style actually leaves you in awe because it actually HOLDS these moments. It makes time stand still, truly.

Yeah the sheesha bit...Raghav's mirror effect move which Rohan executed perfectly.

I loved that other bit too where the lyrics go, "sawaalon ki ungli jawaabon ki muthi sang lekar khoon chala"...I LOVE those lyrics firstly...SO thought provoking, goosebumps inducing and tear inducing almost...and I LOVED the way Raghav interpreted them.

And the slow mo walk during the "ahista ahista" bit...SO perfect.

Ok I need to step gushing about this one performance and move on with the rest of the episode...lol

Aww Soumya-Faisal were so lovely. So true. Fairy is totally the right word for Soumya. :) Kitna pyaara performance this was. Captured the essence of the song so well. It was nice to see Faisal and Soumya pair up too.

I think their performance wasn't flawless though...I think Rohan has been better with Soumya with the lifts and stuff...like remember in that "suraj hua madham" performance? Faisal wasn't as good I thought with the lifts...but then he got a lot more and harder lifts to do at once too.

But still, for two kids...these two were like so easy and flowing. Way better than so many adults. And YES I was also reminded of that Mayuresh-Alisha performance because that's one of the few romantic/waltz type dance performances I've seen on Indian TV that give you this flowing, easy feel. This light, airy feel. And Faisal and Soumya had that too. Aww, super adorable performance.

Yeah I guess they did get a little shortchanged with marks.

I really enjoyed the Dharmesh-Ruturaj performance too actually! I'm glad Farah gave them the deserved appreciation. I thought that act was SO creative, choreography wise. 😆 I didn't think Ruturaj was that bad either...but yeah def. not as crisp as Dharmesh. But it was nice to see these guys dancing together...and the concept was so creative and fun.

Regarding the Vrushali-Vaishnavi performance...yaar I beg to differ there. I actually, genuinely felt that Vrushali was better than Vaishnavi. Maybe it's just me...or maybe I'm biased don't know...but I felt that Vrushali was more bang on. Like she had the balance down between being graceful for the classical bits/the hand mudras and stuff and then being stiff for the robotic stuff. Vaishnavi looked like she was doing hip hop all throughout the performance. There wasn't as much distinction in her movements regarding the classical and robotic stuff. I felt that she was hurrying through her moves a bit too. Vrushali took the time to express in between where it was required too.

The only place I felt Vaishnavi was better was towards the end. Where these two were doing that leg zapping move. Vrushali just couldn't do that move properly for some reason. She wasn't shaking her leg enough to get that "zapping" electric whatever effect.

Vaishnavi was more smooth I'd say...but you need to have that stiffness/crispness for robotics also. Plus Vrushali was def. more graceful for the classical bits too. Like even Vrushali's posture and the way she would freeze and stuff.

I was a bit fascinated with this robotic/bharatnatyam mixture actually. Pretty creative idea. But the overall performance didn't make that much of an impact...because I think the flavour of the song didn't come through. I wish there was more connection between Vrushali and Vaishnavi as performers too.

But still...an interesting performance nonetheless. It was nice to see Vrushali dancing. I hope next time she gets to perform as style where she can be her full on expressive self. She couldn't be that expressive as a robot. lol

LOLL really Salman-Isha used the same song as a DID one again? Hmm interesting...lol I haven't watched the JDJ episode yet.

Edit: Oh and funny we were just talking about wanting to watch Vrushali dance na? lol Yaar, I feel bad for her sometimes...because she hardly ever gets appreciation for HERSELF. Every time she performs with a kid, she always gets the SAME comment that the kid owned her or whatever. And I've never thought this to be true as yet...but anyways.

Ok I will reply to your pending post tomorrow ok? I can't keep my eyes open since it is 3:30 am here. Promise I'll reply though. Goodnight, ttyl. :)

Ahhh see this is why I left it to you LOL. 😆
I saw the act earlier today, but then went out so only got to comment later when I was exhausted lol. Chasing a 3 year old around sure is tiring. 😆
Mhmm I knoww. I feel like I need to re-watch this performance a few times more to really GET everything about it. There's SO much I left out. LOL...
This bit:

Word. Seriously...how did Raghav and Rohan capture this emotion so beautifully? And Rohan especially considering how young he is? The whole aspect of Army men who protect our country and keep going while witnessing the horror of their "own" dying in front of them, shedding blood..it was there THROUGHOUT the act.
In the very beginning when Rohan-Raghav are immitating firing the guns, I remember Raghav and Rohan's "screaming" type expression also were conveying the same thing...like it's almost killing them and hurting them to shoot but they have to type or so I thought?...same when Rohan was the tank on Raghva's shoulder's and Raghav was so determined like our Army men are...
And then do you remember the ahista ahista part waala walk? It was so awesome!
And totally. Farah gives the BEST comments on this show. She is GENUINE and doesn't hold back in her comments...she appreciates it SO fully..the whole bit ki it feels as if time stops when Raghva dances..so true. Same with Rohan. He was a bit underappreciated here when he was soo awesomee!

Raghav-Rohan stole the whole show yest...they were out n out Mindblowing ...

Bits that I loved..
1) Mirror part like how you al mentioned..
2) Badan se tapakar...
3) Ahista Ahist...perfect fo rthe Slow MO..
4) Rohan standing on Raghav ...like hwo Farah mentioned Border feel like...
5) Swaalon ki mutti ..jawabon ki ungli...I swear..This has to be the best Interpretation for this Lyrics...E toh the surrounding that Raghav-Rohan captured entire Patriotic/ Soldier sentiments during War Feeling perfectly and then these bits of Lyrics when it came and teh interpretation gave me such goosebumps...that 15 seconds Wowww...
6) and then ofcourse ...Tanks Loading and Shooting beutifully shown...I esp loved the particular one after Raghav does that Shooting bit ..Rohan goes to Load the Tank ...Minblowing..!!!!
7) Crawling was done Fabulously...
8) Finally the last Slow MO ...Raghav with Flag and Rohan with Salute Position ...giving that entire Winning the War..coming down from the Mountain...eee...Love you two Guys...

Yes...again Rohan was not that Appreciated as he should have been ...but I am glad Raghav is finally getting Credit for his Talent ...Farah she such Unbiased Jujge...wow...Great ..!!! And totally opposite is Geeta...now When she is Suporting LM2...her appreciation is coming for Raghav...LOL...seems like bahot dino se usne andar dabaye rakha tha...yeh saara Raghav ka tarifaur ab bahar nikal raha hain ... because in DID 3 Raghav was Obviously from Rival Team , so she never did that ...mostly in fear that her Contestents might not get that Limelight ...and now She is doing that...Because I felt ..her " Tumhara Yeh Dance hi Tumhe aage leke jayegaa " was absolutely Genuine...

Btw Did they edited the Jujges comment part?? because in the promo when Farah says Raghav you are a Marvel...Rohan looks soo Happy and he is like clapping Happily hearing Praises for his Guru...ahhh that was so good...why did they edited it...:(

Soumya-Faisal...yes it was smooth...but I somehow dint saw the Chemistry there..Soumya had Great Chemistry with Susankat when they did this some what similar dance form ..I think there SS were very much Flowing and were at ease...
Infact even in Suraj huaa Madham...Soumya-Rohan were MIndblowing ..infact till today I have watched that Performance so many times...I absolutely love that Choreography...Again best Representation of Suraj Huaa Madham , mostly in other shows Contestant do Contemporary on this song and get way with it but they froget that It have Beats too...and Raghav totally captured those beats...I know Its too late to discuss it now...but I wanted to, I never got chance to appreciate that Performance...sorrry for going off Topic...

And I loved Dharmesh-Ruturaj Performance What Creative Idea Yaarrr...Sahi... They both were so at ease...Lovely Lovely...After so many Days ...I saw Dharmesh being Dharmesh...Thumbs Up..!!!

Vrushali-Vaishanavi ...mixing of Bharatnatyam - Robotic idea was Great but i somehow feel...the mixing was nto doen Properly...I majorly had Robatic Movements only and less Bharatnatyam...and that's why I felt Vrushali lacked behind...

I so want to see Jeet-Raghav...I am sure Jeet himself will be dying to do Duo with Raghav...:)

I think Farah gave these guys the best compliment today. Raghav's style actually leaves you in awe because it actually HOLDS these moments. It makes time stand still, truly. Farah is the one who gives the most egnuine comments and appreciation on the show! She says she has a bias for season 1, but she never holds her comments back for season 2...and even her critcism, it's very constructive and will definitely help the dancers grow! Thank god for her honestly! :D

Eeeks, YES! How did I forget this part? it was sooo brilliantly done!

And the slow mo walk during the "ahista ahista" bit...SO perfect. I talked about this one in the previous post haha 😆
I think their performance wasn't flawless though...I think Rohan has been better with Soumya with the lifts and stuff...like remember in that "suraj hua madham" performance? Faisal wasn't as good I thought with the lifts...but then he got a lot more and harder lifts to do at once too. I haven't seen this Suraj Hua Maddham performance of Saumya-Rohan's :S It must have happened in that huge chunk of episodes I missed and still haven't completely caught up on 😆 I shall go watch that now.

Yes exactly! It wasn't flawless for sure...but it was still so airy, light, flowy and beautiful. I mean it was a difficult-ish act as well with the lifts...I can totally imagine this being shown on the adult version of DID. So I went back and re-watched Mayuresh-Alisha's Pehla Nasha and fell in love with it all over again. 😆 I toh loved how Terence incorporated Romeo and Juliet into the waltz theme and that song..such grace, easiness, and adorably SWEET chemistry Mayuresh-Alisha had. <3

Oh did I forget to talk about their perofrmance? Yes their performance was actually quite interesting and very creative totally. I also didn't think Ruturaj was that bad. Yeah Dharmesh was crisper and in that one bit, Rutu was behind and it was uncoordinated but for the most part they were in synch. I didn't appreciate Marzi's comments about Rutu's weight either 😕

Regarding the Vrushali-Vaishnavi performance...yaar I beg to differ there. I actually, genuinely felt that Vrushali was better than Vaishnavi. Maybe it's just me...or maybe I'm biased don't know...but I felt that Vrushali was more bang on. But the overall performance didn't make that much of an impact...because I think the flavour of the song didn't come through. I wish there was more connection between Vrushali and Vaishnavi as performers too. I thought Vrushali started well, but the robotics bit went downhill for her when the "this is V power" bit came on...after that bit started I found Vrushali lacking in the crispness required, especially near the end with the leg zapping move..I dunno, I guess I so badly wanted to be wowed and was so excited to see Vrush dance again ki I expected a little too much. *shrugs*
Yes Vaishnavi was more smooth in her movements and that would be why I felt ki her robotics was much better...I genuinely did love Vrsuhali's classical bits though. There was so much grace there...seriously her grace is almost unparalled on this show.. I honestly didn't even notice Vaishnavi much when the classical bits came on because I was too excited to see Vrush do what she does best.
That's what I mean actually. I don't think the performance managed to make that sort of impact. It COULD have...but it didn't get there because I wish they had picked a mix that both Vrush and Vaishnavi can excel at...and yes, I also didn't think Vrush and Vaishnavi had that connect. Sigh. I wish Avneet could be here.
But still...an interesting performance nonetheless. It was nice to see Vrushali dancing. I hope next time she gets to perform as style where she can be her full on expressive self. She couldn't be that expressive as a robot. lol Yup! exactly..Maybe I was disappointed because I couldn't see those expressions from Vrush I love so much 😆 I really hope her next performance goes much better :D I genuinely want her to be appreciated a LOT. I'm so tired of hearing "Vrushali this act didn't go as well as it could have...you were totally overshadowed by the LM kid." It makes me feel so bad..Vrush is always underappreciated :S Geeta especially seems to have some sort of issue with Vrushali...as if it kills her to appreciate Vrushali at all 😕 I appreciate Farah for boosting Vrush's confidence and appreciating at least her classical bits! Seriously, thank God Farah is here.

LOLL really Salman-Isha used the same song as a DID one again? Hmm interesting...lol I haven't watched the JDJ episode yet. Yes, they also used Adnan Sami's "Tera Chehra" song that Tanay-Om danced on 😆 Watch Darsheel-Avneet's performance when you get the chance! :D I only watched Salman-Isha's performance because there was a big hungama on the forum with more than half of the forum trashing it and wanting to know why and how Isha got a 30, calling the judges biased and what not 😆 It was...umm...really bad...the theme was: do something hatke..and I wonder if the hatke bit in Salman-Isha's act was that they made a TOTAL mess of Tango? Pallo...correct me if I am wrong..is Tango not an aggressive yet sensuous dance? That's what I have always thought..and here Salman-Isha were GIGGLING throughout their dance!! W*F. Isn't that totally against the mood of the style?? And forget that..there were so many other mistakes in their dance: slouchy posture, messy lifts..😕 Nothing was pointed out.

@shakti_rock YES exactly! That's the VV's mix didn't work as well!...there was more robotics and not enough Bharatnatyam in it...that's why I would have preferred an almost pure Bharatnatyam act..
And ditto to what you loved about Rohan-Raghav's act too :) The last end bit with Raghav's victory cry was goosebump-inducing..and so patriotic! :D And the loading of the tanks bit was totally awesome too..
Seriously how does this Raghav manage to dance with such a FEEL for the songs? It amazes me how he shows SO MANY variations in just one style...this act toh was COMPLETELY different from what he showed last week..which was more about unrequited love. This guy is just born to dance.
And Rohan toh is totally the perfect chota Raghav...I'm amazed ki at this age he understood such varying and DEEP emotions about soldiers and war..and showed them so brilliantly through his dance! He was totally underappreciated.

Finally got to watching both epis...

I wish I could post a whole essay about the Khoon chala act but I think I need more time to gather my thoughts on that probably...lol...all I can say is that in recent times I haven't seen anyone create ATMOSPHERE like Raghav and now his team of rockstars do...The fact that it was a Raghav-Rohan act anyways had raised my expectations but what they delivered had me in awe, spellbound...this is right up there in Raghav's top 3 choreography pieces in my opinion.

Music and dance...and the complimentary nature of their relationship is showcased so BEAUTIFULLY through Raghav's choreography cuz every single time somehow he manages to cut through to the very soulful core and essence of a song...this is such a brilliant song to begin with Raghav made it ETHEREAL...you are transported into the ATMOSPHERE of the mood the song creates...what the lyrics mean ...the level of interpretation really is MINDBOGGLING. He is a marvel...we can probably never tire enough of saying it.

There were TOO many genius moments in the act...it would be so hard to pinpoint...off the top of my head, the MIRROR bit in the beginning...the SMOOTHNESS of the transitions...these two are SO brilliant together...and they keep on getting BETTER with time👏...everything from thereon...the lipat ke bit...Rohan does this kind of handstand cartwheel or whatever it's called...ubhar ke, he walks through Raghav's knees and steps on to his chest as they do that slow motion track sort of movement...the sawaalon ki ungli bit...WOW WOW WOW...take a bow, Raghav, seriously👏👏👏...You are beyond a marvel, I say!

The new motto of their team sums it up best I guess..."Yehi toh FEEL hai, boss"👏😆...Amazing how they transition from that joking mood to such an INTENSE performance.

I LOVED the bit with the flag and slow motion walk in the end...I had goosebumps...a fantastic tribute to the soldiers of our country👏👏

Oooh forgot to talk about the rest...lol

Faisal-Saumya...umm that was not a waltz😆...the transitions were happening SO quickly my eyes were blurring😕...ek ke baad ek DHAAD DHAAD lifts...what kind of choreography seriously,...koi daud lagi thi? They were both graceful, yes...Saumya obviously ethereal as always but the core ELEGANCE of a waltz that comes with THEHRAAV was not there.

Vrushali-Vaishnavi...I feel there was a discrepancy b/w the two dancing styles and since they couldn't be AS in sync, the act couldn't be taken to another level...I guess Vaishnavi was complimented since her robotic was better than Vrushali's but I feel Vrushali was outstanding in the graceful classical portions...

The rest was quite forgettable...can't recall much now.

Sunday's epi...LMFAO at that Laavni🤣🤣🤣🤣 After I get over how hilarious they looked, that was a FAB act...very good transitions and choreography.

Ummm Jeetumoni just copied most of Raghav's style and got a 30 for it? Interesting...I guess Raghav must be flattered that ppl need to incorporate so much of his style to get that IT factor to a performance😆

The dance ki takkar...Soumya OWNED Vaishnavi like TOTALLY...I'd thought Vaishnavi would be better than this at hip-hop etc. kinda stuff but Soumya just proved why she's a STAR and that star quality goes above everything...it's that X-factor that takes you over the edge and even on technique, the clarity, the sharpness of her movements left Vaishnavi far behind IMO...
