Can some one explain?

In the last sat.day show Sandip said that he married with Jesse six months ago but were dating and dancing with her from the last 5 yrs. He has a son Arjun who came on the show may be arounf 5-6 yrs. (my guess). My question is whether this child is while they were dating or this is either Sandip or Jesse's second marriage with each other. This is nothing personal just my curosity.

He is not his biological child...Sandip had adopted him before his marriage to Jesse...
