The Overhype Continues!!!

Well Well wat can i say bout Zee's Mascot and the amount of footage being given to him..

lets start wit friday's episode..was D's performance really soooo mindblowing?? was he really the best on friday? well i have my reservations bout tht...i agree it was good and entertaining but i think the thing tht worked in his favor was tht he danced on Jeetu Ji's songs and mithun da toh gives him grand salutes evn for mediocre performances so this one toh was still good!
and just a thot...am sure every1 knew tht jeetu ji is the special guest on friday n am sure all masters wud ve wanted to do something on his songs but who gets to perform them? Zee's Mascot of course 😉😉 (no offence..just an observation)

now coming to today's episode...i think D n binny were vryy nice and they danced beautifully..although i dun think it was the best performance of DID 2 or anything...i think tht still has to be 'Khuda Jaane' n "satrangi re' for me..but nonetheless they were vryy gud!

but y sooooo much footage D...and again the crap bout his english etc was overstretched...frankly these gags wit dharmesh really get onto my nerves now n it really takes away something from his wonderful performances..y is zee doing this..am sure these gags r all scripted and he s being told to do all this but unnecessarily giving him so much footage n these gags r quite irritating to say the least...

let their performance speak for itself and end it there n then...they gave a wonderful performance..show their comments, the appreciation etc and vote appeals..keep it simple! y the unnecessary hype n footage n y only to D? well i think i have d answer to tht..he s Zee's Mascot after all 😆

Yeah i think Zee has figured out tht on a DANCE show...these silly gags truly sell and not the contestant's performances! way to go!!!

I totally agree with you.... they dance really well but we have already seen much better duets every week from TKT!! Most probably this is new to GKG thats why ppl are praising so much! 😛

As far as footage is concerned..... this is DID where politeness affects ppl negetively!! 😃

Umm did you ever think that the public wants to see D sir more then others and that's why Zee is giving him more footage? no offence but my hubby just changed the channel during his performance ....though he watches the show only some times, he still was like uff ise har baar highest votes kaise milte hain...

anyways the overhype will always continue is what i know so cant do much abt it...i just switch channels when such things r shown

@ hindu4lyf - Completely agree wit u...these double standards have become a part n parcel of DID this season..be it from Geeta or Zee..i think they are in this together..mayb geeta told the team am only gonna come on board if you promise to make me win 😆😆

Friday's performance was absolutely average for me..i think he s done better!

and even saturday's performance - i ve seen much better duets from amar n shakti n even punit n saajan but as someone rightly said, first time GKG has done well in something like this so the hype...

and lets not even get started on the "english locha" bit 😡
