Thanks for the link, the dance is lovely indeed, but just to clarify, even DID is equally good, don't say that it is unlike this show. Performing on chairs is also like a stunt as done in the this song. DID also has excellent performances and outstanding performers.

this particular epi was a prop round hence they performed. the king does not take anything away from DID but there r lots of stunts n less dance which v cannot deny. the king too likes DID.

Great choreo in the no-light performance. Loads of talent down south, I wish they would participate in some more hindi shows too as they stand a really good chance! Was great to see such refreshing and never seen before choreography but kingji if you look closely, there wasn't that much dance in it to be honest. ;) but still great overall performance!!

Although this performance reminded me of something. I have a friend of mine who is classically trained and trained in bollywood and I swear she has the most flexibile body I have ever seen and is an amazing dancer! She heard about some dance auditions and made her way to kerala where there was a malayalam dance reality show on asianet (mallus will know this) and she got into the top 20 but later dropped out due to the intense amount of compeition. The standards set were soo high in this compeition that even a dancer like her dropped out.

I would love to see some of these dancers make their way one day to aamchi mumbai :)

I think I'm going crazy-I read this topic has 'ungali...' and thought it was referring to mithunda and his teasing of terence lol.

Thanks king for the great vid!

Kerala has extremely talented dancers and the competition would be very hard. That's why Paulson couldnt make it there, and so he headed to DID. Many great classical dancers are there in Kerala, but they also keep a lot principles, that art is not for sale, so they would not participate in reality shows. Shobhana, the national award winner actress cum dancer, hails from Kerala - she is the niece of Padmini, the old time actress in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. She recently said this -- it's tough to beat the dancers from Kerala and there are so many all-arounder dancers too. Many top choreogrpahers in South also hail from Kerala (or Kerala origin) - Kala Master, Prasanna, etc to name a few.

I guess Regional Dance shows have real good talent just like Regional SRGMP and are not corrupted with Regionalism and politics.....

The light act was really innovative and fantastic. Would love to see something like that in a group act in DID.
