It was terrible, wasn't it? We have been prepared for this for a while now, speculations, theories, everything, but seeing it happen still broke everyone's heart I am sure.
I hear everything that you guys are saying, but have a slightly different opinion-
1. In my opinion, this is just an incidence that the CV's are trying to portray to show that gross injustice happens with innocent people in our society. I don't think that in the bigger context, we are meant to take it literally.
2. Although the entire incidence was shown across 20 mins, we will have to assume that some of these things were happening in parallel, and hence it may have been just a matter of 4-5 minutes within which all of these events went down. If these timelines are acceptable, then we can accept the events as plausible.
3. Abhay and Asad were driving to some unknown location when they got a call regarding the location of the next spot. They knew the the army was trying to decipher this information, but did not know the location. So, when that information was relayed to them, the first thing Abhay did was ask for backup. Realistically, they would have sent a few police guys to the location, and not everyone. So, Abhay going there itself was kind of like a last minute decision. It can be assumed that he may not have had a vest in the car. And he may not have had the time to put one on when he got there... No so unbelievable?
4. If the blast has just happened, they thought Asad got to the roof and is trying to escape, they may have the vest with him, they know he shot at a cop (according to them), so, they may have perceived Asad to be a threat. He may diffuse the other vest too and kill more people. So, they shot at him in that fear maybe?
5. If all of this is happening in parallel, it has been a matter of few minutes. Tomorrow, everyone's attention should shift to Abhay, making sure he is taken to a hospital, tending to the other people who are injured etc. I think all of it will happen in tomorrow's episode.
As hurt as I am, I don't think that whatever was shown is truly unbelievable. I may be an exception in feeling this way though. But, I am with you guys in the fact that I am truly bummed too. I will miss these 2 guys hopelessly (if Abhay dies that is). Else, we have light at the end of the tunnel, a little sooner than we can expect, because Abhay will clear Asad's name.
