It was the 3rd night at the hospital and Swadheenta had been recovering well. The doctor's had assured her that she would be discharged and allowed to go home in the next 3 days time. She had broken her bones on the left hand and leg for which she would continue to wear the cast for about 6 - 8 weeks more, but otherwise she was more or less alright.

Suhasini had visited her during the day. Swadheenta was unsure if Adarsh had confided their relationship status with her and decided not to talk about it. She also did not want her parents finding out right away since she knew it would cause problems. She hoped to make them understand her point of view at a better time and had hence not informed even maamu and maami about her acceptance of Adarsh's proposal.

Asad was starting his internal exams the following day and the parents had hence suggested that he stay at home and that one of them would stay the night with Swadheenta. After the late night visit last night Adarsh had not come by during the day and Swadheenta had been hoping to see him at night. She tried not to feel disappointed, but her silence had been noticed by Asad. Her desperate need to see Adarsh made him so happy for her. She had hopelessly fallen in love with him. So when the elders were discussing about who could stay for the night Asad suggested that since he had exams anyway, he would have to stay up till late in the night and it would therefore make sense for him to stay with his Freedom. He sent all the parents home and gave a thumb's up to Freedom. She couldn't thank her stars enough for giving her such a brother.

As soon as the parents left, Asad asked Swadheenta to check with Adarsh if he could spend the night with her at the hospital since Asad would then stay over with some friends for combined study. Swadheenta had called Adarsh to check with him, and he had readily agreed. He had become busy in the morning trying to figure out ways to protect Swadheenta and put an end to this situation. He had come home tired and had hoped to rest for a bit and call her to check on her and ask if he could visit her. He was glad when she had called, and as he was talking to her, Abhay had walked in with his mom and Jai bhaiya and bhabhi. Promising to see her soon, he had put down the phone.

The discussion with his mom had helped make Adarsh feel a little better. Now he at-least knew he had one other responsible person that he could consult and seek help from. But her initial suggestion that it may be a good idea to let Swadheenta go to Chennai with her parents had hurt him. He knew that it was an impulsive suggestion from his mother, but he had to admit that it was also practical. And that hurt him. He was unwilling to let go of her, even for her own safety, and he was feeling miserable about it. He hoped that spending time with Swadheenta would be a good change and hence even while his mom and brothers sat in his room discussing what needs to be done, he had stepped out to leave for the hospital.

Asad who had been waiting for Adarsh's arrival left as soon as he got there. Now, with just the 2 of them together Adarsh walked up to Swadheenta and gave an affectionate kiss to her on her forehead.

His tone had completely changed and he looked upset. Swadheenta immediately understood that there was something that was bothering him. She had been waiting to see him all day and did not like this upset version of him. Poora din iss shakal ko dhekne ke liye thodi na wait kiya? she thought to herself. Aloud, she said busy day tha kya office mein?Stressed lag rahe ho..

Adarsh who was already feeling bad about yelling at her unnecessarily held her hand as he said Haan. Thoda sa. I am sorry. Mein...

Nahi nahi, aisa kuch nahi hai. He became quiet again, as if trying to decide if he should or should not tell her what was on his mind. Then, all of a sudden he said, tum Chennai chali jaaoo. Wahi sahi rahega.

Adarsh, tum please yaha mere paas baito. As he complied with her request, she leaned her right side on him while listening to his heart beating. She asked as he held on to her, Adarsh, this cannot be your idea. Please mujhe batao hua kya hai?

Adarsh did not answer. He looked away. Now, holding his hand, Swadheenta continued Adarsh, hum akele nahi hai. And after we confessed our love for each other, this is the first trouble we are facing. Hamesha koi bhi problem aayega, toh kya tum mujhe apne se dur bhej doge usko solve karne ke liye? Nahi na? So, if we are meant to solve our problems together, let us start from now. Haina?

Adarsh smiled at her attempt to distract him Bolo as he held her close to himself

She was drowning in his ministrations and before he could continue his shenanigans, Swadheenta smiled, pulled him to herself and sealed her lips against his as she mouthed aise!
