Wonderful concept and beautifully written! I am so happy someone has taken the time to write something on Jaidev and Jaya. I find their relationship fascinating and their storyline can really be developed if the writers and producers wish. I myself have been itching to pen something down in their honor for the last several days and you have inspired me to take the plunge.
Coming to your story, I love the spirited and confident Jaya. I had a feeling she probably was something like that before her marriage (because she was Suhasani's choice after all) but these 4 years had beaten her spirit. It is time she take control! I also love the way you have shown Jaidev reach out to his brother. The episode where Jaidev and their dad calls Adarsh a loser really didn't sit well with me. I thought it was extremely harsh and out of left field. You can be upset with your son or have a difference of opinion, but to call him a loser with such vehemence. It was almost as if the writers didn't really understand who calls another a loser and in what context, and they just stuck it in the script. The only situation in which that might have made sense if if Adarsh was not really his son, but we have had no indication to that yet. In the show, Jaidev comes off as selfish to me. He couldn't stand up for himself and is taking it all out on his wife, he doesn't much about his brothers and their happiness. There was small ray of hope during Adarsh's roka episode when we saw Jaidev concerned for Adarsh and subsequently talking to Jaya but it's been days since that episode and we haven't seen Jaidev - or "Baby" for that matter - do anything about it. What's with these brothers? Can't they see their other brother is completely unhappy? So anyway, getting back to your story, because of my dissatisfaction with the show on these points, I particularly liked how you portrayed Jaidev and Adarsh's relationship. Very excited to read the rest of your story!

I intend to keep this as a fast paced SS. And yeah, you're right. They're both stirring up storms and hopefully we'll soon see the impact. Getting them back together is going to be a tough effort but I'm quite enjoying writing about them. :)

it's nice to see jaya standing up for herself 👏👏👏 LIFE IS MEANT TO BE LIVED HAPPILY HER PARENTS N FIL N MIL HAVE LIVED THEIR LIVES THERE IS NO POINT IN SACRIFICING HER HAPPINESS FOR THEM

KEEP IT UP 👍🏼.
CONTINUE SOON

Thank you. It was an important conversation and it makes me feel great when all my readers have loved it. :)

While Jaya may have been sacrificing her happiness for others, it was for people she loved and not just anyone. But sometimes in life, one reaches a point when they realise that not many people care for the sacrifices. That realisaton brings pain. In Jaya's case, it is happening due to Jaidev.

Another intriguing update.
Well, I will be honest. The one person who seems like a mystery to me so far is Jaya. The fact that Jaideep had such a lovely conversation with his brother and cares so much about him only strengthens my belief that heis capable of seeing sense, doing the right thing and being fair. He genuinely blames his mother and Jaya for his present situation. Some how he does not appear to be someone who would needlessly punish Jaya for no fault of hers. It will be interesting to read about them.

If it so happens that she did play a part in bringing them to their present situation, I wish she will spend time making amends with their life as a whole. If Jaideep is being mean to her unreasonably, I am all for her doing anything she seems appropriate for herself. But I do hope she makes him realize his mistake.

Dont get me wrong. I am not someone who will encourage any time of MCP behavior. I certainly dont subscribe to the ever tolerant and submissive pativrata types either. But from what we have seen so far, it looks like these two haven't even given each other a true chance... and she certainly seems like the one who has to see the future for the both of them. He has completely turned a blind eye towards their relationship.

Loving the story so far!

Thank you! Glad you appreciate it. I agree with you! I'd love to see CVs explore the potential between these two and give us more about this duo. I look forward to reading something about these two from you. It would be interesting to read another's perspective on them.

Knowing your readers approve of the portrayal of your story's characters is very delightful feeling, thank you very much! Yes, I see Jaya as a strong woman, one who is subdued by choice. But she is now out to change that. There's more to Jaidev than just being a self-obsessed, arrogant jerk and I hope to bring that out in the story.

I do not approve of Manohar's selfishness in the show. The way he treats his boys for his own benefit is not what a child looks for in his father. The equation between the father and sons is formal at best. They can never think of opening their hearts to him - in fact that is something that can be said of all the members of the Sinha family. None really trusts the other enough to confide in them and this can be attributed to the familial atmosphere created by the parents - and is quite sad!

So we finally saw the brothers trying to corner Adarsh and forcing him to speak his mind, it was a rare moment in the life of the siblings, given the level of their camaraderie but again, it was broken by Manohar. It would be interesting to see how the relationship dynamics change in the family after Swadheenta's arrival in the family.

Thank you for your detailed comment. It was a pleasure to read. :)
