I agree with you girls ... but I feel that there is more than what meets the eye with Suhasini ...

I feel that she is playing a different game ...

I too did not like the way she so casually summed up Swa ...

They all seem to have a different agenda ... Su has her own enmity with Ahuja

and wants Swa to help her with getting even with him ...

I don't understand the dislike Aadarsh's father has for him ...

Either Su has underestimated Swa's capabilities or having seen the fire in her is actually

testing Adarsh ...

Only the upcoming episodes will tell us ... 😆

We tend to switch in the way we interact with people. Suhasini is warm and open to Freedom at Shraddha's wedding and humors her request and meets her. She is sure she will win the case against Ahuja and is willing to give her a tip as to who could help her. By prodding her to pore over documents till she stumbles on the facts to strengthen her case she is indirectly setting her up to do what she as a debutant lawyer did several decades ago.

Beneath the air of confidence she exudes she is still smarting under the fact that her upbringing was questioned by her son's elopement.

Freedom is idealistic just like Adarsh and though they are opposites by way of attitude that is what has attracted him to her. Freedom has had to struggle against odds and the support of her loved ones has paved way for her to be where she is professionally . She does not want it hampered in any way at present. She has not been smitten by the love bug and unlike Asad's infatuation Adarsh's is an attraction for someone with whom he wants to spend his life. Freedom likes to show the reality to dreamers while Adarsh has the conviction to transform dreams to reality. He seems mature in his interaction with everybody and delights in simple pleasures. To him Freedom is a whiff of fresh air unlike the control freak of a mother and sisters in law who are stoic and flippant.

She is not a dormat like Jaya or feather brained as Simi . Freedom is naive but ponders over suggestions and thinks of ways to overcome barriers in her way.

While Bhaav and attitude defines the Sinhas...in is the same simplicity Adarsh craves would set him free from a pseudo elite/ intellectual value system he is surrounded by that paints him as a loser...while he goes about systematically winning hearts.

I wonder if jaidev liked someone else, but suhasini forced him to marry jaya. it explains why he does not like his mother, is unwiling to give his wife a chance and generally angry with life

Nice post Shruthi , Suhasini's controlling behavior is an essential aspect and so is her wanting the beat for her son's and her family.

Correction.

What she thinks is best for them is what she wants.

She is a smart woman who knows how to get What she wants.Somehow I feel she was instrumental in Manohars transformation as well.

She keeps her professional and personal life separate which is a good thing.Her criterias for a bahu and for an assistant are quite similar.She wants the upper hand in controlling both of them.Only difference is that she wants an upper class girl who matches her family's status .

There are no values and principles to be matched.As a lawyer she wants someone who can keep up her image as a lawyer which she saw in Swadheenta.She knows she is hard working and spirited thus matching the image if brand she has created for herself.

But as a bahu Swadheenta does not match the image of the family she has created .She does not fit in the perfect picture.Even though suhaisni has failed with abhay,she is not going to budge till the picture is perfect again.

Vey nice post...Suhasini most definitely has an ulterior motive in appointing Swadheenta as her assistant...which is to take revenge on Ahuja...That is clearly apparent...

@doc you bought an interesting point and I liked your last line. Suhasini is not going to budge till the picture is perfect. You know a damaged picture how much ever correction you do it externally can never be the same again. The perfect picture has to be redrawn from scratch. For that the existing has to go

@moonwear Adarsh asks a question in first epi seeing freedom. Why have you come. To give me freedom from what. And your post sums up what freedom is gonna do in Adarsh's life. How she is going to make him a winner from a loser with his principles.

@kishmish I really wish Suhas was testing Adarsh. But there is a look she gives to the couple from behind the rack in the mall. That sums it up. The way she observed Swa did give me negative vibes

Suhasini has misjudged her . Swadheenta is fire & she has proven that in court too Earlier . She would not want Adarsh to turn against her so might accept swadheenta for him. Jaydev has issues with his mom & his behaviour is deplorable . Swa is ambitious but with right values . Felt bad for jata yesterday . I wonder how can Suhasini not see this situation b/w her elder son & jaya.

Yes Megha. I really felt bad for Jaya. But she represents the educated women in the upper strata of society who suffer silently.

I feel a middle class or even a woman from a poor family by this time would have done something about the situation. But society status makes these high profile ladies keep mum and suffer in silence.

Jaideep has lot to answer. The way he pretends the perfect son in front of family and doing all the kaala kartooth peeche. Abhay is better in that sense. He is what you see him to be.

@shru layer by layer peeling off of the character of suha is coming out.. She has underestimated swa..Swa took this carrier to do social service , to help the needy , to provide justice to poor people who cannot afford money.. A true person , with good intentions having hunger and passion towards her job to achieve heights to help the society will always be successful when put against all the odd situations.A person who is true can be easily and emotionally manipulated but when they strike back , you wouldn't have the guts and courage to stand against them. Jaya represents the current women in the society and i expect her to be a bit realistic towards the approach of her life rather cribbing about it. And her husband , it seems he doesn't like his mom , he is just after the power position status.😊
