90210 Season 5 Ep11Full Recap & Video

We're Not Not in Kansas Anymore

The episode begins with the whole gang arriving at the hospital where Annie is admitted after being shot. Liam tells them Annie is stable but there is some internal bleeding, hence she is being prepped for surgery. Liam tells the girls everything that happened. Naomi later find out that Max possibly lied to her about going to Iceland. Liam apologizes to Annie for everything and says what's happened to her is his fault. Annie doesn't agree and asks him to stop blaming himself. She instead tells him that he would probably have been better off if he hadn't met her in the first place. She is then rushed to surgery. Next, Annie wakes up on a stage with all the actors dressed in clothes of the characters from Wizard of Oz. One of the guys named Jason who was her high school boyfriend tells her she got hit on the head and fainted. Annie is baffled as to where she is and is told by Jason that she is in Wichita Kansas and has lived there all her life. Annie is terrified as she doesn't know what's happening. Later, Annie finds herself in her own bedroom in her new life and is still confused. Jason walks in and tells her that the doctor has said it would take her some time to get her memory back. Annie wakes up the next day and sees that she is still lying in her new bed in her new life, beside Jason. Jason reminds her that they are about to get married in a week. She sees a ring on her finger and freaks out. Annie wants to talk to Dixon and is told by Jason that Dixon has moved to LA and hasn't been in touch ever since. He gives her his last address from LA and Annie insists she has to meet him. She flies to LA and arrives at the address Jason gave her. There she meets Naomi who doesn't know her but is a real estate agent and shows her around the house assuming her to be a prospective buyer. Just then Dixon and his cronies enter the house. Navid is one of his cronies. It looks as if Dixon has made it big in LA. He asks Navid to drive Annie out and pretends he doesn't know her. Naomi tells Annie that dating Adrianna made Dixon famous. Annie is surprised to know that Adrianna is famous too. Adrianna in the meantime is begging Silver who owns a celebrity blog, to not release an embarrassing video of hers on the internet. Silver tells Adrianna that she could get her own gossip show on TV if she releases the video, but Adrianna begs her to reconsider as she is making a comeback and wants nothing to spoil it. "If you really don't want me to release this, find me something bigger" Silver tells her. She gives Adrianna a deadline of 12 hours before her video goes viral. Annie finds out that Naomi is taking a business course at CU and has a crush on Teddy, who she says is the "biggest catch on campus". Liam too is a student there. Teddy arrives and flirts with Naomi and Liam who is his friend also joins him. Teddy invites Naomi to a attend party at a club in the night. Naomi tells Annie the club Teddy is talking about is partly owned by Dixon, so he too shall probably be at the party. Liam owes Ty who is also a student at CU, some money. Ty suggests Liam steal some oxy from his stepdad who is a doctor and sell it to Dixon who is looking for some. Liam feels it isn't right as it would amount to selling drugs, but Ty is insistent and asks Liam to get the oxy to the party at the club in the night. In the night at the club, Dixon performs for the crowd. Liam tells Ty he has "got the stuff". Silver too is there and is taunting Teddy, telling him that she knows he is gay. Teddy tries to deny it, but looks visibly worried. Annie and Naomi arrive at the club but are told to wait in line to enter. Adrianna arrives and Naomi tries to talk to her to help get them in. Annie tells her that Dixon is her brother and gives her a picture of theirs together as proof. Adrianna asks to borrow the picture and in return gets Annie and Naomi in. Once inside, Adrianna gives Silver the picture of Annie and Dixon together and tells her what Annie told her. Annie tries talking to Dixon but he is in no mood to talk and says he parted ways with the family because of her. Basically, their family didn't want to move out of Kansas because Annie wanted to pursue her musical career there, hence they didn't pay attention to what Dixon wanted. Dixon hasn't forgiven Annie and wants her to go home. Annie reluctantly leaves. On her way out Annie bangs into someone and loses her phone. Liam who is looking for Ty runs into her and offers to help her out. Teddy in private tells Naomi that he is gay, but asks her to be his girlfriend so they can put up a charade in front of his rich family and the world. In return he promises to shower her with expensive gifts. "I'll do it" says Naomi. Ty is apprehended by a cop at the club, while trying to sell oxy to Navid. Liam tells Annie that he is planning to tell his step dad about the money he owes rather than doing the wrong thing. Just then Ty comes out of the club with the cop. Ty tells the cop that Liam has the oxy on him. The cop frisks Liam and finds the oxy; he too is arrested as a result. Dixon's photo with Annie goes viral thanks to Silver. Dixon isn't happy about it as his "street cred" has gone for a toss thanks to the picture, which would mean that his next album would flop. Dixon blames Annie for it. Next day, Silver reads in the news that she is being called "Queen of Mean" for all that she did. Navid on the other hand is still sticking with Dixon, despite him being a, nobody from Kansas. Navid says he likes him better now as he was kind of a "dick" before. Teddy gets Liam out of jail on Annie's request. Also, Annie gets the whole gang together and tells them she is leaving for Kansas in the night. She tells them all that, she knows each one of them really well, although they might not believe it. She tells each one of them who they are suppose to be, in the life that she knows them from. After her speech Dixon and Annie make up. Naomi tells Teddy she can't go ahead with their arrangement. Teddy understands. Just then, Max arrives and tells Naomi that someone recommended he meet with her for buying some property. Naomi and Max seem to instantly hit it off. Silver promises Teddy she won't out him, although she feels he should come out. Annie wakes up in the hospital bed with Liam standing over her. "It's good to have you back" he tells a relieved looking Annie. Teddy later finds out that Silver forged his signature on the consent form. He isn't happy about it. Naomi discovers that Max is living with his parents. At the hospital, Annie tells Liam he doesn't need to feel guilty about anything, as bad things will keep happening because they are a part of life. The episode ends at this point.

The episode begins and Max and Naomi are at a therapist's office getting some marriage counseling. The therapist realizes Naomi is trying to run Max's life and says Max needs to be able to make his own decisions. "Naomi I suggest you spend some time focusing on yourself" the therapist says. Naomi agrees to take the therapist's advice, although she doesn't look very convinced. Teddy on the other hand tells Silver that his lawyers are drawing up a petition to destroy the embryos. Liam at home is busy taking care of Annie, who is back from the hospital and is recuperating. Dixon later arrives to meet Annie and she tells him that Riley has basically confessed to falling in love with her. She really likes Riley but doesn't know if she wants to get serious. Annie feels Riley is on a family vacation, but Dixon tells her the truth that he is at the San Jose Spinal Centre, and has gone there for experimental spinal surgery. Dixon adds that Riley decided to take this step because he felt; Annie wasn't taking their relationship seriously because of his handicap. Annie feels really guilty on hearing this and calls up Riley, but he doesn't pick up. She then calls up the spinal centre and finds out Riley is already prepping for surgery. She lies to the hospital official that she is calling from the insurance company and lies that his insurance doesn't cover the surgery. She tells Dixon, Riley can't get the surgery till, she talks to him. She asks Dixon to drive her to the spinal centre. Dixon on the way to the spinal centre tells Annie he is frustrated at the fact that Megan isn't allowing him to help her with her college tuition, which she is unable to afford. He mentions that Megan might have to move out of LA for this very reason. He says he really likes Megan and doesn't want her to leave. Naomi is getting bored and hence pays Silver a visit. Silver tells her that she isn't going to be a mom, as Teddy has changed his mind. Naomi tells Silver she has been offered the job of organizing a kid's beauty pageant and asks Silver to help. Silver agrees. Naomi invites Adrianna to perform at the pageant. Megan tags along with Adrianna as her manger, as per Dixon's instructions. Turns out, Megan will accompany her in all her gigs till Dixon is back in town. Megan does a good job of managing Adrianna and she seems apparently impressed. Navid on the other hand is trying to get into an exclusive student group called Cronos and approaches a guy named Campbell, who is a part of the group, to make that happen. Annie arrives at the spinal centre and goes to Riley's room. "I love you" she tells him the moment she sees him. She says he doesn't need to get the surgery because of her, as she loves him the way he is. Riley says he already had the surgery. He clarifies that experimental surgery isn't covered by insurance, so her call didn't help. "I love you too" he then tells her and kisses her. At the kiddy pageant, Naomi meets her old boss and has a talk with her. She as a result realizes that she should have focused more on her career, when she had the opportunity. Navid in the meantime is helping Silver make corsages for the pageant. Silver in the middle of it breaks down and says she is trying to be fine, but can't come to terms with the fact that's she won't be a mother. Navid says he knows Teddy backed out, but they can find someone else. Silver says she can't, as the doctor has said she can't do another IVF, as the hormones could kill her. "Does Teddy know that?" asks a shocked Navid. Turns out, he doesn't, but Silver doesn't want to tell him, as she feels she has wronged Teddy enough. At the hospital Dixon apologizes to Riley for telling Annie the truth. Riley isn't angry as he feels Annie's heart was in the right place and adds that "sometimes the end justifies the means". What Riley said apparently made a lot of sense to Dixon. He therefore decides to help Megan, despite her specifically asking him not to. He calls up Megan's college and sets up an anonymous scholarship for her. At the pageant, Megan gets a call about the anonymous scholarship and is overjoyed. She tells Adrianna about it. Adrianna on her part apologizes to Megan for being such a "bitch". "What happened between me and Dixon has nothing to do with you" Adrianna says. The two, apparently seem to be warming up to each other. Navid arrives at Teddy's and tries talking to him about Silver. Navid tells him about Silver's medical issue, because of which this is her last chance at having a baby. Teddy looks worried on hearing Silver's issue. Max on the other hand arrives at the pageant and tells Naomi he wants to go back to college at MIT, to join a program he likes. Naomi isn't at all happy to hear this and the two get into a huge fight. Teddy arrives at the pageant and tells Silver he talked to Navid. He says he doesn't want to take away Silver's one chance to have a baby. Silver is relieved to hear this and thanks him. Teddy says he is still angry with her, but can't be as horrible to her as she was to him. "Just be at my lawyer's office tomorrow" he says and leaves. Adrianna finds out that Dixon is the one who paid for Megan's college tuition. Liam starts a fight club of his own, by asking the members of Cronos to join him. Liam steps into the ring for the first fight, with one of the members. This in turn also gives him the opportunity to vent some of his pent up anger. After the pageant Dixon meets Megan and she tells him about her scholarship coming through. Adrianna arrives and lashes out at Megan. She feels Megan deliberately got her to perform at the pageant, so she could earn her the tuition money. Megan doesn't realize what Adrianna is talking about. Adrianna clarifies that she talked to their accountant who told her about the scholarship Dixon set up. Dixon tries to calm her down but Adrianna is in no mood to listen to his justification. Megan too is really angry and makes it clear to him that she shall turn down the scholarship and move out of LA. Annie on the other hand gets a call from the spinal centre informing her, a clot passed into his lung and Riley as a result has passed away. Max apologizes to Naomi for earlier. He says he loves her but doesn't know if it's enough. The two confess to each other that they are both acting like kids and can't seem to be able to figure out what they should really do, with their relationship. A disconsolate Annie calls Dixon over and in tears tells him that Riley has passed away. Next Day, Campbell informs Liam and Navid that they have been accepted to the Cronos Society. At the lawyer's, Silver finds out that Teddy wants a third party as a surrogate. In other words, he doesn't want Silver carrying baby. Silver is shocked, as she is doing all of this because she wants to carry her own baby. Max in the meantime sets Naomi free, so she can pursue her dreams. The episode ends at this point.

The episode begins and Navid tells Liam that the "Cronos guys" want another fight. Liam isn't too keen about the idea but Navid begs Liam to not "leave him hanging". Liam says he isn't "some sideshow" for Navid's new "fake friends". Liam says the fight served its purpose and now he has to find a new way to channel his energy. Naomi and Max on the other hand are getting divorced. They both agree it's the right thing to do, because their decision to marry was too impulsive. Dixon in the meantime tells Navid that Megan has dumped him and Adrianna hates him, but all he was trying to do was a "good deed". Navid tells Dixon his problem with Liam and the club. Dixon says Navid should show the guys at the club that he has other things to offer to them besides Liam. Liam meets a director who hands him a script for a film. Liam isn't too keen to get back into acting, but is intrigued that he shall be playing the character of Joe Namath in the film. He says he shall mull over the proposition and get back to her. The girls are out shopping to get their minds off things that are bothering them. Adrianna is shown shoplifting, but the girls don't notice. Naomi tells everyone about the charity event she and Max had organized together and how Max doesn't want to come to it anymore because he wants a clean break. Naomi comments on how they are having a mutual separation, so she can't understand as to why they can't stay friends. Annie asks Naomi to give the whole thing some time and says Max might eventually come around. The girls leave the shop and Adrianna says she will "catch up" a little later. She again shoplifts something and just as she is about to walk out the store alarm starts beeping. The store security immediately catches hold of her and escorts her back in. Dixon arrives and reprimands Adrianna for what she has done. Adrianna suggests he drop her contract if he is so angry with her. Dixon realizes Adrianna did what she did, only to get out of the contract and disappoints her by revealing that the store has decided to drop the charges. Dixon reasons with her and promises her that he will make it up to her, for their money he used up paying Megan's tuition. He says he is working on something and "if it happens we will both be out of this with what we want" he says. Teddy asks Silver to meet Shane's sister who he says is ready to be the surrogate. Silver isn't too crazy about the idea, because Shane's sister lives and studies in DC. Teddy argues that she visits LA frequently and Silver will love her. Naomi in the meantime uses her charm and manages to convince Max to be a part of the school charity event, they had planned together. Liam sees a guy sitting in a car outside his house and finds it suspicious. He asks Annie about it. Annie asks Liam to relax and says they are in a nice neighborhood. Liam walks out of the house looking pretty agitated. Annie seeing Liam's state of mind and follows him. Liam sees the guy staring at him and Annie. He walks up to the guy and assaults him. Annie intervenes and pulls Liam off the guy. Annie brings the guy home and offers him an icepack. She then tries talking some sense into Liam. Liam agrees with her and says maybe he simply needs something to occupy his mind. Liam decides to read the movie script. The guy who was assaulted says his name is Kent and he is looking for a blogger who writes a blog called Undressed. Annie is surprised to hear this, because she is that blogger. Turns out, Kent's boss is a famous publisher named Amanda Barber and she wants to meet Annie. Amanda feels Annie's blog could be the "next Fifty Shades of Grey". Annie says her thoughts are personal and she isn't interested. Kent gives her his card and asks her to think about it. Dixon talks to a record label manager Rant Gunn and asks him to buy Adrianna's contract. In return, he wants the guy to sell him a few of his artists who will come cheap. The guy says he and his partners will have to see Adrianna perform before he can make his decision. Dixon suggests Naomi's charity event where Adrianna is going to perform. Adrianna on the other hand is planning to blow her charity event gig, so Dixon fires her from her contract. Navid meets a new girl and the two get pretty close. Max and Naomi on the other hand begin making out while working on a science project for the charity. They spend the night together and have a great time. In the morning, Naomi tells Adrianna that it's probably too soon to call off their marriage. Later at the event, Naomi tries to talk to Max about it but before she can say anything, he says the whole thing that happened was a "huge mistake". Naomi is visibly shocked to hear this and hence says nothing. Later, while the two are showing some experiments to kids at the event, Naomi makes her feelings known. She basically tells Max she isn't in the right frame of mind and walks off. Rant Gunn and his partners are at the event and are eagerly awaiting Adrianna's performance. Liam participates in a charity football game at the event and does really well in it. The director who is present at the event is really impressed with his performance and says Liam is selected for the role of Joe Namath. She asks him to get ready to be really famous after playing this role. Liam seems worried to hear this. Max has a chat with Naomi and explains to her that he needs to cut all ties with her for some time, because he cares too much for her to just be friends with her. Naomi sees logic in what he is saying, but maintains that their parting ways is still hurting her. Silver suggests to Teddy that they ask Adrianna to be the surrogate. Teddy finds the idea laughable, because he isn't at all sure about Adrianna's state of mind. Silver defends the idea and says Adrianna has changed for the better. "Did you talk to Ade about this?" Teddy asks. "Yeah we discussed it" she replies. Adrianna comes onto the stage for her performance and deliberately sings horribly. Dixon is shocked to hear her sing absolutely off key and so is everyone else. She then takes things a tad further by stripping off her clothes onstage. The security at the venue is eventually forced to escort her off the stage. Later, Dixon tells Adrianna about his plan of finally letting her go, and how she screwed it all up. He tells Adrianna she is released from her contact and walks away disappointed. Teddy and Silver conclude that Adrianna is not really a smart choice, especially after what she pulled at the event. Silver says she wants to carry her own baby and doesn't want a surrogate. Teddy is adamant and says that he simply can't allow Silver to carry her own child. In the end, Silver left with no other option agrees to meet Shane's sister. Silver also a little relieved to know that Shane's sister is open to moving to LA. Annie meets with Amanda Barber the famous publisher. She agrees to the book being published, but doesn't want her name on it. Basically, Annie is afraid of hurting too many people in her life who don't know about a lot of things she has revealed in her blog and hence wants to be anonymous. Silver meets Mackellar Shane's sister. Turns out, she is the same girl Navid recently befriended. They are meeting at Teddy's house. During the meeting Navid arrives to meet Teddy. Navid and Mackellar are surprised to see other, but they both pretend as if they have never met before. Liam on the other hand lands up at the Cronos fight club, instead of meeting the director and the studio executives for the film. The episode ends at this point.

WOLFGANG PUCK GUEST STARS — Liam experiences some symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder while preparing to testify against Ashley (guest star Natalie Morales), while Annie is furious when Naomi tracks down their half-brother Mark (guest star Charlie Weber), a chef who owns a gourmet food truck. Wolfgang Puck has a cameo role as a celebrity judge in a cooking competition. Silver is overbearing with her surrogate Michaela (guest star Lyndon Smith), whom Dixon discovers has an amazing singing voice. Trevor Donovan, Michael Steger and Jessica Lowndes also star. Benny Boom directed the episode written by Chris Atwood.

Brother from Another Mother

The episode begins with Dixon telling Liam how he has no way to pay Annie back, because he has dropped Adrianna from his label. No new artist wants to sign with Dixon's label and neither do the old ones. "So basically I am screwed" he says. Liam tells Dixon he has to testify at Ashley's "preliminary hearing". Adrianna too has to go to court, because she is being charged with "indecent exposure" for what she did last week at the charity event. Adrianna says she hasn't been able to book a gig since the incident and every time someone looks at her, it seems as if they are trying to imagine her with her shirt off. Silver is in a rush, because she has to pick up Mackellar and enroll her at CU. Silver and Mackellar run into Navid at CU. When they are by themselves, Mackellar thanks Navid for "not saying anything". Later during a Calculus test, Navid gets a text from a member of the Cronos Society. The text has all the answers to the test. Naomi in the meantime introduces a guy called Mark Holland to Annie. She then shocks Annie and Mark both, by revealing that Mark is their half brother. Naomi says she hired a PI to find Mark. Mark isn't too excited with this revelation and simply walks out saying, he has work to do. Annie too isn't very excited with the news and walks out. Mackellar would be staying with Dixon and Teddy along with Silver will be paying her rent. Mackellar looks a bit bothered by the fact that Silver is trying to cram baby related things into the schedule since the time she has come to LA, barely leaving her with any breathing space. Navid isn't at all happy with receiving the answers for the test and tells a fellow Cronos member that. Navid is asked to help with the Physics test, because he is good at it, but Navid refuses outright. Annie gives Dixon a bunch of demos to listen to, so he can choose a new artist for his label. Naomi still wants Mark to be a part of her life and is even ready to buy a restaurant for him, so she can get to know him better. Annie doesn't think it's a good idea, but Naomi sees Annie trying to do the same for Dixon and points out that it's the case of the kettle calling the pot black. Liam and Adrianna in the meantime are at the courthouse. Liam is called in to testify and just as he is about to go in he sees Ashley getting dragged into the courtroom by policemen. On seeing him she begs to Liam to explain to everyone that she was only trying to protect him. Liam is really hassled on seeing her and begins recounting all that things she did to him. Adrianna asks him if he is ok and Liam in his present state of mind sees Ashley asking him this instead. He as a result attacks Adrianna thinking she's Ashley. The cops see this and drag him away. Later, Liam has a chat with a psychiatrist who says he is suffering from PTSD, based on the symptoms he is exhibiting. She says the treatment for him is to confront the things that are causing the trauma instead of trying to hide from them. "Confronting your past is the only way to start feeling better" she says. Liam feels what the therapist is suggesting is "crazy". Naomi in the meantime is holding a food truck contest, just so Mark could win it and she could help him start a restaurant. Mark isn't happy about what Naomi is doing, but stays at the contest with his food truck, because it's good for his business. Annie on the other hand tells Dixon that Mark is their "half brother". Annie says Naomi tracked him down, because she insists she needs family in her life. Annie says she wanted to protect Dixon and not stress him out, which is why she didn't tell him about it. "Last time you were stressed out, you went to rehab" she reminds him. Dixon assures her that there is nothing that will make him go back to taking drugs. "Like it or not I am not your only brother anymore" he says. Mark in the meantime wins the food truck contest. Mark realizes he won only because Naomi sabotaged the competitor's recipe. He as a result walks away from the podium in a huff. Naomi rushes behind him to reason with him. She admits to everything including her plan to open a restaurant for him. "You are insane" he says and drives away in his food truck. Not the one to give up, Naomi manages to hang on to the back of food truck while it's driving away. Adrianna in the meantime is asked to perform onstage by the member of a band, who says their lead singer has fallen sick. During the concert Silver finds out that Navid and Mackellar had hooked up a few weeks ago. Liam in the meantime punches a guy from the Cronos Society who blurts this out in front of Silver. Naomi makes it to the front of the truck and has a chart with Mark. While chatting with Naomi, Mark loses sight of the road and ends up crashing his truck into a wooden cabin, right outside where the concert is happening. Liam on the other hand is arrested for punching the Cronos Society guy. Naomi is really feeling guilty about how she made things worse for Mark. At home, Silver and Mackellar have a chat about the pregnancy. Mackellar asks Silver to relax and not try to be so controlling. Mackellar says Silver obsessing over the baby is neither healthy for her (Silver) nor for the baby. Naomi in tears tells Annie how she screws up every meaningful relationship in her life. She says she only wanted to share the same kind of bond with Mark that, Annie shares with Dixon. Next day, Annie meets Mark. They have a heart to heart. Annie hands him a check Naomi wanted her to deliver. It's so Mark can buy a new truck. "She didn't have to do that" Mark says. "You are right she didn't" Annie says with a smile and walks away. Mark realizes Annie is trying to insinuate that Naomi meant well, all along. Liam is released from police custody, because the guy he punched dropped the charges. Turns out, Navid agreed to help out the Cronos Society guys with the physics test in return for Liam's release. Liam on his part has learnt his lesson and has therefore decided to pay heed to the therapist's advice. Adrianna has decided to take some time off from her singing career. Silver is excited to hear this and tells her she has taken Mark's old food truck off of Naomi's hands. Silver suggests they run the food truck in partnership. Adrianna readily agrees. Mark pays Naomi a visit and says he is down with the idea of opening a restaurant. "I see you later…sis" he says and leaves. Naomi is overjoyed that Mark has at last come around. Dixon hears Mackellar singing and is amazed at how good she is. She on her part is really excited to hear that Dixon owns a music label and could make her a star. In order to confront his fears, Liam rents the place where he was held captive by Ashley. The episode ends at this point.

Strange Brew

The episode begins with Liam and Annie doing the dishes. In the middle of doing the dishes they suddenly begin kissing passionately and are about to have sex when Annie comes back to her senses. Turns out she was daydreaming. She sees Liam standing in front of her shirtless and makes herself scarce in order to avoid giving into her urges. At his house Dixon has begun working on Mackellar's track and he plays it for her. Mackellar is pleasantly surprised to hear how good her voice sounds. Dixon says the next step of his plan is to get Mackellar to perform in front of a live audience. He says they can do that at Naomi's restaurant opening. After that the plan is to hit a few local clubs and eventually after she has delivered the baby her album can be released. The only problem is they haven't discussed all of this with Silver yet. They are worried how she would react. Mackellar doesn't want to let Shane and Teddy down and doesn't want Silver to feel they are sneaking around behind her back. Therefore she wants Silver to know of their plans before they go ahead with it. "You are absolutely right" Dixon says and assures her he will let Silver know about their plan. He says he will convince Silver that her (Mackellar) singing career will not interfere with the baby. Adrianna and Silver are planning what business they should start now that Silver has bought Mark's old food truck. Naomi arrives just then. She says she and Mark haven't had any time to bond because of the restaurant opening. She concludes the solution to that is to get Mark to move in with her. Annie is at Amanda's office. She has handed Amanda the new chapters for the book. Amanda is pleased with what Annie has written. Amanda mentions that she is eagerly waiting for her to write the end. Annie says what Amanda has just read constitutes the end. Amanda isn't happy to hear that and suggests Annie come up with something "deeper" if they are going to make the book a bestseller. Amanda suggests Annie explore the relationship between the character of Annabelle who is modeled after Annie and the character of Liam in the book. Amanda feels the chemistry between Annabelle and Liam feels "real" and Annie should explore that. Annie isn't too keen to do that and says it's her story so she would like it to end the way she wants. "Annie, I suggest you figure out how it ends" Amanda again insists with a smile. Dixon tries to talk to Silver about Mackellar but has second thoughts because she is too preoccupied with the truck. He suggests Silver convert the truck into a studio on wheels because Silver has a passion for filmmaking. Silver thinks it's a great idea and concludes she can convert the truck into a "documentary truck". Adrianna calls just then and she tells her about it. Annie brings Mark to her house to stay so he can act as a buffer between her and Liam. Naomi comes to know about this and isn't happy about it. She orders Annie to send Mark to her house. Annie says "I need him here" and explains she needs Mark as a buffer because she has the "hots" for Liam. Naomi suggests Liam and Annie get back together but Annie doesn't think it's a good idea. Annie doesn't want any distractions while she is working on her book and reiterates "Mark's staying here". Later Naomi convinces Mark to spend the complete day with her so they can bond as a family. Naomi and Mark begin their day of bonding. Naomi slowly figures out that she and Mark don't have much in common. Silver as per Dixon's suggestion has converted her van into a mobile studio. They are going to drive around interviewing people and will get them to talk about their hopes and dreams. On the way they might stumble onto "something amazing". Naomi and Mark are at an amusement park and are stuck on a Ferris wheel. While they are stuck they discuss the restaurant opening and Mark is shocked when he finds out Naomi has invited a hundred people for it. "I am not prepared for that!" he exclaims and concludes that they are "totally screwed". Mark and Naomi later return to the opening and see that all the guests have arrived. Mark says they don't have enough food or staff to cater to a hundred people. Naomi on her part is busy apologizing for the fiasco. They both rush into the kitchen to do some cooking. Annie is accompanying Silver and Adrianna in their truck in order to keep her mind off Liam and to get over her writer's block. They interview a woman whose relationship is similar to that of Annie and Liam's. In other words they had an on-and-off relationship for years. The woman says in the end she and the man she loved made it work and now they are together. Annie, seeing this woman's example, is convinced that there is still hope for her and Liam. "I need to find Liam" she says with a smile on her face. At the restaurant Naomi and Mark are finding it difficult to manage things. Naomi begs Dixon to send Mackellar on the stage to perform so that it will distract the guests for a while. Dixon is reluctant because he hasn't spoken to Silver yet. Naomi is insistent given the current situation. She can't think of any other way to calm them down. Silver and Adrianna arrive with Annie for the opening. "I am going to look for Liam" Annie says and walks away. Silver is visibly surprised to see Mackellar on the stage. Mackellar begins singing and all the guests seem to like it. Silver too watches with a smile on her face. After her performance Silver tells Mackellar how amazing she was. Mackellar assumes Dixon has already told Silver about their plans and begins talking about it. Silver, who is completely oblivious about Dixon's plan, is visibly shocked to hear about it. Seeing Silver's shocked expression, Mackellar realizes Dixon hasn't spoken to her yet. Silver confronts Dixon and makes it absolutely clear to him that she isn't happy with his plan. She doesn't give him a chance to explain and says that he is selfish for only thinking about his own career. She then walks away visibly disappointed. In the kitchen Mark and Naomi get into an argument about the opening. Naomi in anger sits down to have some dessert. Something in the dessert causes an allergic reaction and she begins to choke. Mark takes out a syringe from a first-aid kit lying nearby and injects the medication in it into her leg. It seems to do the job and Naomi is able to breathe again. Apparently Mark just saved her life. Annie returns home and sees a drunken Liam lying on the couch. Before she can tell him she loves him he dozes off. Mark tells Naomi he too has the same allergy she has which is why he keeps an epinephrine shot handy. Mark forgives her for ruining the restaurant opening and they bond like real brother and sister. Adrianna returns Silver her camera. In it Dixon has recorded an apology message for Silver that Adrianna plays for her. In the video Dixon mentions he wants to make a music video with Mackellar in it and wants Silver to direct the video. Next day Annie hands Amanda a new ending to her book. In this ending Annabelle tells Liam how she really feels and they kiss and he then sweeps her off her feet and they ride off on his motorcycle. Amanda loves this new ending. "It feels perfect because it feels true" Amanda says. Annie mentions that at least for now what she has written isn't true. The episode ends at this point.

Life's a Beach

The episode begins and Liam tells Navid and Dixon that he wants to open his own surf shop. He tells them that he is planning to design boards just for women and that way not only will he be following his passion, but also meeting cute girls. On the way home from the beach the guys run into a girl, who loves the surfboard Liam is carrying and he tells her that he has himself shaped it. She is really excited to hear this and agrees to become Liam's first customer. She wants to see how a surfboard is shaped, so Liam invites her over and she even offers to invest in his business, but he says that he presently isn't looking for investors. Liam later tells the guys, a surf festival that's soon coming up would be just the place to launch his business. Dixon later tells Silver and Mackellar that he has arranged for the sets to shoot their music video, but they have to do it within the next two days. Silver reminds Dixon that the next day Mackellar has her IVF, but Dixon says that Mackellar only has to undergo a few lab tests which won't take time, so they can shoot the video the day after and Silver agrees. Mark makes the girls taste some of his cooking and they love it. He then tells them that with Annie's help, he has set up a meeting with a famous restaurant in New York. Naomi isn't too happy to hear this, but Mark says he can't pass up such a great opportunity and assures her that he will find a replacement for their restaurant, if he gets the job in New York. At college, Campbell gives Navid a tough time, when he sees Navid looking at job openings and says a Cronos member deserves to get a job before he does. Naomi and Annie discuss about the possibility that Mark might move to New York and Annie feels it's a great opportunity, but Naomi clearly doesn't think so and feels she can change Mark's mind by hooking up Mark and Adrianna because Adrianna seems to have a thing for Mark. Annie doesn't feel Adrianna is the right girl for him, but says that in the end Mark has to decide, so she asks Naomi to not interfere and promises that she won't either. The girl comes over to watch Liam shape a surfboard and after a bit of flirting they end up making out. Next day, despite promising to Annie that she wouldn't, Naomi tries hooking up Mark and Adrianna by calling them at the same time to her house. Naomi using the excuse of the surf festival makes Adrianna try out bikinis and even gets her to admit that she likes Mark and when Mark comes over he sees Adrianna standing in front of him wearing a two-piece bikini. Mark is stunned on seeing Adrianna and Naomi on seeing his reaction makes some excuse and leaves in a hurry. Navid is at a job interview and is nearly rejected. When he sees that the guy who is interviewing him has photos on his table that indicate he and his daughter like surfing, he offers him passes to the festival, which seems to break the ice. Liam tells Annie about this new girl named Sydney that he has hooked up with, but now he is trying to avoid her because she wants to invest in his business and he doesn't think it's a good idea to mix business and pleasure. Annie isn't too happy to hear that Liam has hooked up with a new girl, but tries to act normal. Mark comes in just then and tells them he saw Adrianna strutting around in a bikini at Naomi's house and how hot she looked while doing it, so now he is thinking of dating her. Annie realizes all of this is Naomi's doing. While shooting Dixon's music video, Silver gets a call from the fertility clinic informing her that the IVF procedure has been moved up to the next day. Dixon is really unhappy to hear this because there is still a lot of shooting left and he can't postpone the shoot because it would be too expensive. Liam agrees to let Navid market his surfboards at the surf festival, so Navid can show the interviewer what he is capable of. Silver and Mackellar return after the IVF procedure and Silver apologies to Dixon for the music video not happening, but Dixon says he understands and is only sad that now his record label has no chance of surviving. Naomi and Annie get into a huge argument about Mark, with the both of them making hurtful remarks about each other's personal lives and in the end Naomi says she would rather sacrifice their friendship than lose her only brother. At the festival, Liam tells Sydney that he doesn't want to mix a personal with a professional relationship and she reveals that she can't date him because she is married and is only looking for something casual, which Liam isn't interested in, so they part ways. Silver tries to make it up to Dixon by setting up Mackellar's performance at the festival, but Dixon doesn't feel it will have the same impact as the music video. Annie is trying to ensure that she drives Mark away from Adrianna. Brock, Navid's interviewer, arrives with his daughter and Navid tries to impress him by telling him that he is handling the marketing for Liam's new company and Brock seems pretty impressed. He asks to meet the investor, but Liam takes Navid aside and tells him what he just found out about Sydney and adds that she isn't an investor anymore. Naomi and Annie get into a huge fight right in front of Mark because Naomi sees from a distance Annie trying to convince Mark that dating Adrianna is terrible idea. In order to prove her point, Annie has even brought along Dixon, who she had hoped will support her and while they are fighting Adrianna comes there and is shocked to hear some really unflattering things being said about her by her friends. Navid is trying his best to impress Brock, but unfortunately for him things aren't working in his favor. Annie and Naomi make up because they realize that they are both like sisters and they begin looking for Adrianna, who was so hurt that she ran off in tears. Liam tells Mark that Naomi would be devastated if he left for New York, so Mark decides to give the whole thing some more thought and just then Navid comes and says Brock has left and so have his chances of getting a job. Mackellar begins her performance and Dixon is pleasantly surprised to see a flash mob dancing to the music and Silver tells him it's her way of apologizing to him. Annie and Naomi find Adrianna and apologize to her. She forgives them after they have explained themselves and the three of them then join the flash mob. Dixon is really thankful when Silver tells him the whole performance is being recorded by cameras that have been placed all around. Mark tells Naomi he isn't going to New York and is instead going to stay and make their restaurant a success. Silver and Adrianna discuss about Mark and they both admit they like Mark and just so they don't fight over him, they decide that Mark is off-limits for them both. Liam pays Sydney a visit and says he is fine with both, her investing in his business and them having a casual relationship and they then kiss. Brock gives Navid the job because he assumes the flash mob thing was his idea to market the surfboards and feels it was pure genius. Navid tells Campbell about it and taunts him by saying he doesn't need his Cronos Society after all. Dixon thanks Silver for what she did and just then Mackellar gets a call informing her she is pregnant. Silver is overjoyed with the news as is Mackellar. After sex, Sydney asks Liam to use the backdoor to leave because her stepson will be home soon and just as he is leaving he sees Campbell enter and he also hears him telling someone on the phone that he has set up Navid to take the fall for Cronos Society cheating in the recent exams. The episode ends at this point.

The episode begins with Annie paying Adrianna a visit. Adrianna says she is worried about Naomi because she hasn't been herself the last couple of days. She shows her Naomi's divorce papers and says this might be the reason why Naomi is behaving the way she is. They try talking to Naomi, but she says she is fine. She then goes through all the calls she has received and decides to call Jordan, who wants some unspecified events organized. Mackellar and Silver are watching a birthing video and Dixon comes in, but quickly leaves because he can't stand watching it. Liam tells Navid that he heard Campbell say the Cronus Society guys would frame him for cheating on the tests. Navid says he will immediately talk to the Dean about the whole thing and beat Campbell to the punch. Mark and Dixon bond a bit and then decide to go out for the night, to have a few drinks and meet girls. Jordan tells Naomi he needs someone young and fun, like her, to organize events for his company. After he leaves, Naomi tells Adrianna she might be feeling sad and lonely now, but needs to snap out of it if she is going to organize events for Jordan. She decides to party with the girls for the night, so she can bring back the old Naomi. While Navid is waiting outside the Dean's office, he sees Campbell come out. He says he has already talked to the Dean and convinced him that Cronus isn't involved in the cheating scandal. He adds that his father is one of the trustees, so the Dean would take his word over Navid's. Mark and Dixon are at the bar and, after a few drinks, they talk to a couple of women. Dixon leaves with one and, just then, Adrianna and Sliver enter. They run into Mark but, because of their pact, they both try to avoid him. They discuss how nothing is more important than their friendship, although they are both attracted to him. Liam tells Sydney about what Campbell is planning to do and says he is thinking of confronting him. She says Liam can't let Campbell know he overheard the conversation because her husband would learn she is cheating on him. She feels Campbell can't be allowed to get away with this, but tells Liam to find some other way to stop him. At the bar, while doing shots, Naomi tells the girls to forget all their cares in the world and simply have fun. The next morning, Naomi wakes up in her pool with a veil on her head and alcohol bottles all around. She goes in and wakes up Adrianna, who is sleeping on a table. They both can't seem to recollect what happened last night and Naomi is even more shocked when she sees a ring on her finger. Naomi says if she has married someone, she has to immediately get it annulled. They try to retrace their steps and remember which male strip club they had been to last night. They decide to start there. Dixon wakes up in bed with the girl he picked at the bar last night. She then sees Mackellar suffering from morning sickness and decides to be by her side, and sends Dixon to get some stuff for Mackellar from the store. At the strip club, the manager tells Naomi she didn't want to leave the floor and danced with the strippers most part of the night. On a nearby wall, she sees photos of her and the strippers having fun. She asks the manager to give her all their numbers because she feels she might have married one of them. Liam tells Navid the Cronus guys might still be willing to hang with him (Liam), so he will go undercover, to get one of the dummy cell phones the Cronus guys used for the cheating. Adrianna meets Silver, who says she left them at the bar last night to get something for Mackellar and, when she returned, she saw they had already left, so she came back home and slept. Adrianna sees a man's jacket in the room, but Silver doesn't reveal who she spent the night with. Naomi finds out she didn't marry any of the strippers but, instead bonded, with two TV stars from the show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and left the strip club with them. They arrive at the gym where Brandy and Camille, the TV stars, work out and they are both overjoyed to see Naomi. Liam gets into Cronus by lying to Campbell, saying that Navid is no more his friend. Dixon and Mackellar talk about the pregnancy and about the things they like, and seem to really hit it off. Naomi finds out from the women that they had all gone to Annie's house last night and they needed to go to the bathroom but, when they came back, she was already gone. Campbell tells Liam the things he has to do, as a part of his initiation into Cronus. At Annie's, they all see a photo on her cell phone sent from a wedding chapel. Naomi and Mark are in the photo. From the photo, it looks like Naomi married Mark. Campbell isn't convinced that Liam still isn't friends with Navid. Liam asks him what he has to do to convince him and he asks Liam to give him his phone. Dixon and Mackellar are having a meal at Mark's restaurant and he slowly seems to be getting attracted to her. Naomi meets Mark and he reveals to her how things panned out last night and how, in the end, she got married to herself. They then discuss her divorce and Mark asks her to stop being so hard on herself. He tells her that he has been divorced too, so he knows how it feels. Navid is called to an empty classroom by Liam and, the moment he arrives, the Cronus guys grab him by the arms. Campbell asks Liam to hit Navid, to prove he is no longer friends with him. Liam does as is told, to make the whole thing look real. At Mark's restaurant, Naomi calls Jordan and says she is ready to take him on as a client and, while she walks away from the table to talk to him, Silver goes into the kitchen to talk to Mark. She then returns his jacket and they talk about the night they spent together. He promises he won't tell anyone about them, if she doesn't want them to know. She thanks him, but says there is someone she does have to tell. Annie asks Dixon how his night with Mark went and if he met someone. He says he did, but adds that the whole situation is presently complicated. While Navid is checking on his bruises, Liam enters and says he couldn't find the phone, but assures him he won't give up. Navid asks him to be careful and says, if they find out what Liam is up to, they might do something really bad to him. Silver tells Adrianna that she hooked up with Mark and Adrianna pretends she is fine with it, but expresses her anger after Silver leaves. The episode ends at this point.

The episode begins at Mark's restaurant with Jordan telling Naomi that he wants her to organize an event for him. Before leaving, he hands her a leather case containing all the details about the party, saying the information in it is highly confidential and under no circumstance should she lose it. After Jordan leaves, Naomi and Mark talk about relationship issues. At Dixon's, Silver runs into Adrianna and tries to talk to her about Mark, but she isn't interested. After Adrianna leaves, Silver has a talk with Dixon and Michaela, saying she is sure Adrianna is pissed with her about the whole Mark issue and she wants to sort things out with her. Silver also asks Dixon if he can take Michaela for a doctor's appointment because she is busy. Dixon, who seems to already have a thing for Michaela, readily agrees. While Liam is hanging out with the Coronus members, he gets a call from Navid, who informs him that his hearing is on Tuesday and if Liam can't gather evidence against the Coronus members by then, he will be expelled. At Amanda's office, she tells Annie, what a rage her book is set to become and insists Annie shed her veil of anonymity. Annie is adamant that she doesn't want to, saying it will hurt the people close to her. Jordan enters the office a while later because it turns out, his company is launching her book. He says that he respects her anonymity and adds that her book launch is his company's top priority. He tells her about this huge party he has planned for the launch and shocks her by revealing that Naomi has been hired as the party planner. At home, Naomi tells Annie about the party she has been asked to plan for the book written by "Author X". Naomi says her plan for the party is to find "Author X" and reveal her true identity because she feels this would impress Jordan. Annie isn't too pleased to hear this and is even more shocked, when Naomi entrusts Annie with finding "Author X" because she has earlier said she follows "Author X"'s blog and is a fan. At Sydney's, she tells Liam that she has a plan in mind that would help him prove Campbell is the one, who actually cheated on the tests. At the doctor's, before going in for her tests, Michaela tells Dixon, how she misses going on dates and having a normal life because of the pregnancy, which apparently gets Dixon thinking. At Mark's restaurant, Silver arrives and breaks up with Mark, saying it's because she can't hurt Adrianna, who claims she is fine with their relationship, but Silver is sure that she isn't. She explains that given her and Adrianna's history she doesn't want to take a chance. While hanging out with Liam, Campbell tells him that his whole class will have to retake a test because of the cheating scandal and he isn't really prepared for it because he cheated the last time. He adds that he had used a cell phone to cheat the last time, but this time cell phones aren't allowed in class. Liam counters that there are other ways to cheat, saying he can help Campbell. At Mark's, Dixon arrives and tells him that he needs some relationship advice. He tells Mark that he really likes Michaela, but doesn't know if he should ask her out. Mark advises him to have an honest chat with her and in the end asks Dixon for Adrianna's phone number. Somewhere outside, Liam meets Navid and tells him that Campbell and the other Coronus guys will be hiding cheat sheets in water bottle lids and smuggling them into the exam hall. Liam wants Navid to catch them red-handed, while they are cheating, so he can clear his name. At home, while Annie and Naomi are talking about the book, Silver arrives. Naomi makes Silver read a page from the book and she immediately realizes the book was written by Annie. She takes her to the other room and asks Annie, what she was thinking, when she decided to write a 'tell all' book. Annie agrees she made a mistake, but Silver calms her down, saying no one knows she was a hooker except her and Liam, so she doesn't need to worry. Annie then talks about the party with Naomi, which is the next day, saying she still hasn't found "Author X", so probably the person will have to remain anonymous. Naomi counters that she will find out during the party who "Author X" is and on hearing this, a worried Annie suggests that as a theme everyone wear a mask to the party. Naomi likes the idea. At Mark's, he calls Adrianna for a talk and in his own way urges her to sort things out with Silver, so they can all move on with their lives. At the book launch, Naomi tells Annie about, how determined she is to find "Author X". During the test, Navid makes sure that the supervisor sees the bottle of water that Campbell is using to cheat. The supervisor sees that all Coronus guys are carrying such a bottle and tells everyone that they won't be leaving the room till the dean comes. At the book launch, Liam arrives and is surprised to see Sydney there with her husband. He has been called there for a book read. Annie is worried to see him because he is the only other person besides Silver, who knows she was hooker and will figure things out the moment he reads a page. At Silver's, Adrianna arrives and tells her she doesn't want to be her friend anymore and she can date Mark if she wants. She is angry because she kept her end of the pact, but Silver didn't. While hanging out with Michaela, Dixon tells her how he feels about her, but she says she likes Navid. Dixon is hurt, but pretends he is cool with it. At the book launch, Jordan introduces Naomi to Elizabeth, a friend of his, and she assumes Elizabeth is "Author X" because she has a mysterious air about her. A while later, Liam begins the book read. At the exam hall, the dean tells the Coronus guys that they are all being placed under academic probation. Navid feels that this exonerates him, but the dean makes it clear that he too is accused of cheating and just because others also cheated doesn't mean he is innocent. Navid is told that he too will be punished if it's proven he cheated. Campbell figures out Liam plotted with Navid and set this whole thing up, so he warns Navid that there will be consequences. At the book launch, Naomi walks up to Elizabeth and urges her to reveal that she is "Author X", saying she has nothing to be ashamed of just because she was a prostitute. Elizabeth insists she is not "Author X", but Naomi refuses to believe her, but is thoroughly embarrassed, when told by Jordan that she isn't "Author X", but his sister. After Elizabeth angrily walks away, Annie reveals to Naomi that she is "Author X". After the event, Annie and Naomi have a heart to heart and Annie decides to reveal her true identity to the world. Liam is really angry at Sydney because she had lied to him that her husband was huge and used to beat her up, but he saw him at the party today and says he is so puny he couldn't hurt a fly. Campbell arrives and overhears their argument. He intervenes, saying she lied to Liam so she could grab his inheritance by turning his father against him, which is why she convinced his father to talk to the dean about a retest. Sydney admits to everything, but tells Liam that she really likes him. Liam doesn't really care and walks away. After consoling each other, Navid and Adrianna end up making out. Mark and Silver have a heart to heart and he tells her that they both like each other, so there is nothing left to stop them from having a relationship. He tells her to think about it and walks away. At Naomi's, Jordan arrives and she admits to him that she likes him and he says he likes her too. He says he didn't tell her about Elizabeth being his sister because she would ask questions about his family, which he wasn't ready to answer. He tells her that after she hears about his family, she might not want to get involved with him. Annie returns home and sees Liam has already figured out, who has written the book. Liam is really pissed and accuses her of using him like every other woman in his life. After he goes upstairs, Annie hears a knock on the door and sees Patrick standing in front of her. He says they need to talk, while pointing at her book. The episode ends at this point.

The episode begins with Patrick telling Annie that he is married, adding that her revealing to world she is "Author X" will end his marriage. He as a result wants her to keep this fact under wraps, but Annie refuses, saying he can't tell her what to do. On hearing her refuse, Patrick before walking away warns her that if she hurts his family, he too will come after hers. At Naomi's, Jordan reveals to her that his mother is a judge and might soon be the Secretary of State. He says that his mother because of the position that she holds has a habit of scrutinizing people all the time. He feels Naomi wouldn't be able to handle his mother, which is why he isn't sure if they should get into a relationship. He tells Naomi to think about what he said and then decide if she really wants to move forward. At Navid's, Adrianna and him wake up in bed together. Moments later, Liam knocks on his door. Navid decides to distract Liam, so Adrianna can sneak out. While Liam is telling Navid about Cassie McCoy, a famous surfer, who Liam wants as the face of his company, Adrianna sneaks out unseen. At Dixon's, Michaela tells Silver that she is really keen on taking part in a Spencer Blaine concert. Spencer is a famous artist, who has announced that he is looking for upcoming artists to perform with him. The concert is in two days, so Michaela wants to write a song, send it to Spencer and if he likes it, she could have a shot at stardom. Silver is reluctant because of the whole pregnancy thing, but allows her to go ahead because she feels Michaela would most probably not get selected. At Annie's, Dixon arrives after receiving a text from her. She reveals to him, how she had last year worked as a hooker to pay his rehab bills. She also tells him about her book and Patrick's threat. Dixon is really mad on hearing all this and storms out. At Mark's restaurant, Silver arrives and tells him she is ready for a relationship. They decide to take a few days off and go on a date. At Adrianna's, Michaela tells her about Spencer's concert and says she needs her help in writing the song. Michaela also urges her to not tell Silver that she is helping her because of how things presently are between her (Adrianna) and Silver. At a caf, Liam and Navid have a talk with Cassie McCoy, the famous surfer. She is willing to become the face of Liam's company if they can get her a private concert with Ollie Murs, a British pop star, who she is a big fan of. At Naomi's, she is going to New York to attend a fundraiser being hosted by Jordan's mother, so she can impress her. She convinces Mark, Silver and Annie to join her. In New York, Naomi decides to buy Mark a tuxedo for Jordan's mother's fundraiser because he doesn't have one and the clothes he is wearing just won't do. At Liam's, he and Dixon talk about the whole Annie issue. Dixon can't stop feeling guilty because of what Annie had to go through to pay for his rehab and now Patrick's threat has made matters worse. After Adrianna, who knows Ollie Murs' drummer, agrees to help Navid get in touch with him, they talk about the other night that they spent together. They conclude that, they having a relationship would complicate things, so they mutually decide to never hook up. Although, it clearly appears they both want to. At the tuxedo store, when Naomi asks Mark to lie at the fundraiser, saying he never owned a food truck, but instead owns a chain of restaurants, it makes Mark really mad. He feels there is nothing wrong with, who he is, or what he does, so he refuses to play along and storms out. At Patrick's, he returns from work and is shocked to see Dixon waiting for him. Patrick takes Dixon aside, so his wife won't hear their conversation. Dixon warns Patrick to not threaten Annie, saying Annie has her brother by her side now. At the fundraiser, Jordan introduces his mother to Naomi and she realizes Jordan wasn't lying, when he said she could be more than a handful. After Michaela tells Adrianna she loves the changes Adrianna had made to her song, Michaela shocks her by adding that the song captures exactly, how she feels about Navid. At the fundraiser, during the auction, Naomi is brooding by herself because she has no family heirloom to donate for the auction and was taunted by Jordan's mom for that reason. Suddenly, she sees Mark arrive on the stage and offer himself up for the auction. He offers free cooking lessons to the highest bidder and after a bidding war, is sold for $20,000, which pleasantly surprises everyone including Jordan's mother. Jordan's sister walks up to Naomi after the auction and tells her, how impressed her mother was with Mark. She says her mother would like to talk to her (Naomi) now. At the Ollie Murs concert that Liam and Navid have organized, they bring Cassie and she is stunned that they pulled it off. While she is enjoying the concert, she suddenly breaks down on seeing her ex there getting cozy with another girl. She tells them she and Derek, her ex, are both fans of Ollie Murs, which is why she wanted the concert in the first place. She was hoping she could get back with him at the concert, but is now devastated on realizing that won't happen. Naomi is brought in for a private meeting with Jordan's mother, who places a file on a table in front of them, which contains Naomi's past police records. She tells a shocked Naomi that they need to talk about this. At the concert, Liam gets onstage with Cassie and kisses her, while calling her his girl, just so they can make Derek jealous. Liam's plan works and Cassie is overjoyed. In New York, Mark and Silver spend some time romancing each other. At Navid's, Adrianna arrives to tell him that she wants something to happen between them. Before she can say anything though, he tells her they made the right decision in not getting into a relationship because it would really complicate things. She on hearing this leaves without telling Navid, how she really feels. After Jordan's mother gives Naomi a really tough time by pointing out every mistake she has made in the past, Naomi lashes out, saying she has no regrets. Naomi adds that she only came to the fundraiser to get in her good graces, but now realizes that she made a big mistake. While she is storming out, Jordan enters and realizes something is really wrong. At a TV studio, Dixon arrives to meet Annie, who is about to give an interview, revealing that she is "Author X". Before she steps in front of the camera, he assures her that she has his full support, which greatly relives her. Later, while she is checking out of the hotel, Patrick comes to meet her. He is really agitated and says that because of her revelation the press is hounding him and his family. Annie has no remorse, she tells him that he deserves it and walks away. At Liam's, Cassie, who had agreed to his endorsement deal, arrives and says her mom, who is also her manager, isn't allowing her to go ahead. She tells him that the problem is Annie's erotic novel, which also mentions him. At Dixon's, after Michaela makes Silver and Dixon listen to her song, she tells them she would get to go on an all city tour if her song gets selected. Silver isn't happy to hear this and says there is no way she can allow the woman carrying her child to go on a tour. Michaela is angry on hearing this and storms off. At Naomi's, she returns home and sees Jordan waiting for her. He tells her that he wants to date her despite what his mother thinks, saying his mother will just have to learn to live with it. While Adrianna is listening to Michaela's song, she gets a call from her. Michaela tells her what Silver said, adding she has no other choice, but to listen to Silver until she delivers her baby. After hanging up, Adrianna sends Michaela's song to Spencer, while saying to herself that she isn't bound to listen to Silver unlike Michaela. At Mark's restaurant, while Annie is celebrating the success of her book with, Mark, Naomi, Dixon and Silver, the cops arrive. They place Mark under arrest because cocaine was found in his baggage that was held up at the airport. The episode ends at this point.

You Can't Win Em All

The episode begins in the morning with Navid and Liam waking up and wondering about the things that transpired on the previous day. Under his pillow, Navid finds one of Adrianna's earrings. While dressing up, Adrianna finds one of her earrings missing and wonders where it could be. In the bathroom, Silver looks worried after doing a breast examination. In prison, Naomi and Annie arrive to meet Mark, who has been arrested because drugs were found in his baggage, at the airport. Jordan is with them and Annie tells him, how Patrick must have framed Mark. She recalls that Mark's suitcase was in the lobby, when Patrick had come to meet her. Annie and Naomi are worried on learning from Jordan, whose lawyer is handling Mark's case, that this wasn't Mark's first offence. In fact, Mark was out on parole for narcotics trafficking. Mark tells the duo that, two years ago, while he was working at a restaurant, the crew there was dealing in drugs. He looked the other way, but when they got busted, he too was arrested. He, plead not-guilty to charges and got away with probation and no jail time. During their conversation, Mark reveals that he has two kids with his ex-wife. He says he hasn't been a good father all these years and has hardly spent any time with them. Which is why, he had promised to celebrate one of his kid's 11th birthday this weekend, but can't because he in prison. While Michaela and Dixon are having a chat in his studio, Silver gives him a call. She knows that Michaela is still mad at her, so she asks Dixon to fix it, saying she has something else she needs to deal with. At home, Silver takes a call from an organizer of the Spencer Blain concert, for which Michaela had applied. The call is for Dixon, but Silver takes a message. She is told that Michaela has been chosen and isn't too pleased to hear that. She tells the organizer that Michaela's schedule wouldn't allow her to participate in the concert and hangs up. At Annie's, she returns home and learns that Liam is still really mad at her for writing the book. He says that his life is in disarray because of it and storms out. At Naomi's, Jordan tells her that his mother is worried that he getting too close to Naomi will affect her (mother) reputation. Mark being arrested for narcotics possession has made matters worse. Naomi figures that because Jordan's mother wants to keep Mark's arrest under wraps, Mark could get released within a few days. Mark's wife would then not come to know about the arrest and Mark can keep his kids from moving to Vermont with his ex-wife. Jordan points out that Mark will be in jail all weekend and won't be able to attend his kid's party, so his wife would come to know about his arrest. Naomi says that won't be an issue because she will be throwing the party. At Dixon's, Silver tells Michaela that she has been chosen for the Spencer Blaine concert, but can't go on tour because she is carrying her baby. Dixon and Michaela both try to argue with her, saying this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Silver doesn't care and reminds Michaela that she has signed a contract with her. She tells Michaela that she will have to move back to Washington and cut all contact with Dixon because he is being a bad influence on her. Dixon is baffled as to who sent the song to the organizers. Michaela right concludes that Adrianna did it, to get back at Silver. At Annie's, while she is busy going over the details of Mark's case with Ms. Burns, Mark's lawyer, Naomi convinces Liam to spend a day with Mark's son, who is a big sci-fi fan. Naomi feels this would help Dylan, Mark's son, forget the fact that his father isn't around. At Adrianna's, Dixon tells her about Michaela being chosen for the concert and about Silver's reaction. Adrianna also feels this is a huge opportunity for both Michaela and him. She urges Dixon to not let Silver ruin it. At the birthday party, after Naomi has organized everything, she and Liam have talk about the fact that Mark won't be there. Liam thinks it isn't a good idea for her to lie to the kids about why Mark won't be at the party. She disagrees, saying some lies are good. The kids arrive with their mother and are really excited on seeing the grand arrangements. Before leaving, Mark's ex-wife tells Naomi to ask Mark to drop the kids back home by 6 in the evening. Naomi assures her that it will be done. Dixon accompanies Silver and Michaela to the doctor's. On the way, he tries to reason with Silver, but to no avail. She makes it clear that all she cares about is the child Michaela is carrying and nothing else. At Silver's, Adrianna comes searching for her and finds Navid there. He tells her Silver isn't home and he is there assembling a crib for the baby. While chatting, they both concede that they are really attracted to each other and begin making out on Silver's bed. At Annie's, while she is having a talk about Mark's case with Burns, Jordan's sister Elizabeth arrives. She surprises Annie by telling her that her (Elizabeth) mother wants to help Jordan with Mark's case, but Jordan turned down her offer and isn't returning her calls. At the party, while Naomi goes to get the kids some ice-cream, the kids tells Liam that the party is fun, but seeing their dad is the only thing they want. On hearing this, Liam decides to do something about it. Naomi returns and finds Liam and the kids missing. At Naomi's, Annie confronts Jordan, who is there planning a surprise for when Naomi gets back. After she tells him what Elizabeth said, he tells Annie that his mother doesn't do anything without expecting something in return. He feels taking his mother's help would be like doing a deal with the devil. Annie is really desperate to save Mark, so she urges Jordan to let his mother help, saying she doesn't care about the consequences. While at it, she gets a call informing her that Liam is with the kids at the prison. She arrives there and a while later, so does Naomi. They are all touched to see, how happy the kids are on seeing their father. At Silver's, while Navid and Adrianna are busy cozying up in bed, Michaela enters to have a talk with Silver. She is shocked to see the two of them and quickly leave. Adrianna rushes after her and explains that she didn't tell her anything because she didn't want to hurt her. Michaela sees sense in what Adrianna is saying. At Naomi's, she reprimands Liam and even slaps him in anger for what he did, saying Mark might lose custody of his kids once his ex-wife comes to know he is in prison. At the hearing, thanks to help from Jordan's mother, the judge rules that Mark is free to go. At the restaurant, Mark and Naomi bid each other a tearful goodbye because Mark has to move to Vermont, so he can be close to his kids. At his surfboard store, Sydney comes to see Liam. She tells him that she has left her husband and doesn't care about the money anymore. She wants to restart things with Liam and asks if he is interested. Dixon tells Silver that he showed the contract that she has with Michaela to Mark's lawyer. The lawyer told him that Michaela can do whatever she wants till she has proper medical care. Dixon tells Silver that she can't legally stop Michaela from taking part in the concert. At Naomi's, Jordan and Naomi are about to make love, when he gets a call from his sister. She reminds him that his mother helped him and now he owes her one. She wants Jordan to leave his girlfriend and immediately take the next flight to NY. Jordan reluctantly complies, but doesn't tell Naomi the real reason before leaving. At Annie's, she is shocked, when told by Liam that he wants to move to Australia with Sydney and start things over. He asks Annie to buy his bar, so he can do that. At Dixon's, Silver and he return and are shocked to learn that Michaela has packed all her stuff and left. The episode ends at this point.
