Caroline and Tyler's scene was pretty endearing and I agree, for me their scenes made the episode somewhat interestingl. For the most part, I haven't really cared about Tyler as his character wasn't really appealing/was such a jerk and his scenes/story didn't make me sit up and take notice. (well except M. Trevino being hot lol)

But that episode, alongside the previous two episodes which portray him as this vulnerable, yet strong, tortured guy have made me kinda like him because his character development is a whole lot better as well as his story line and interactions with Caroline. Not sure, if I want them together though since I kinda like Matt/Caroline. If they do pair Caroline/Tyler together, I hope its a slow burn.

Tyler and Caroline kissed. Not surprised there. The first half of the episode was predictable.

Damon being back to his former self should be fun to watch. I liked him drunk, even though I didn't quite approve of him killing the girl. They need to show drunk Damon more often lol

Uncle john is alive? I didn't see that one coming.

Tyler will go against the brothers... I wonder if they will keep him negative the whole season. For once I hope he has more feelings for Caroline, than she does for him. Tyler was a jerk with his previous girlfriend, and Caroline already had a hard time with Damon. She deserves better.

I don't think Tyler is the one who cages Caroline. I think Jules does. If you watch the promo closely, there aren't any shots of them together while she's trapped....it's just tricky editing.

I think Jules takes her hostage as leverage over Damon, since he has vowed to kill her....Tyler and Caroline may be having same major setbacks (understandably so, IMO), but they are not THAT major.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking though.

On a shallow note, that C/T kiss was HOT! The actors just crackle with chemistry!

Off topic: Does anyone watch Being Human?...another great series about supernatural creatures.

@bold: That's what I would've preferred, but this show is on the CW after all...gotta take what I can get!

I feel like the Damon being on and falling off the wagon plot-point has started to feel a bit derivative...I like him more when he's all evol...He's more fun that way! But the dude should just pick a side by now....Have to commend Ian on his acting towards the end. Almost had me in tears.

Looking forward to seeing Uncle John again...Big Davis Anders fan here!

Yeah, I wonder which side Tyler will end up choosing though....I refuse to believe that he would just listen to Jules (a woman who he knows nothing about) over Caroline, the girl who was there for him through the most trying time in his life thus far - his transformation.... Kevin Williamson did indicate in an interview that Tyler/Caroline storyline may have a tragic ending....that doesn't sound good!

@bold: Yes! I remember the first season was so much more fun, even though he was like killing everyone, and it was awful, but Damon is fun when he is evil. He keeps you guessing, so I'm glad they showed him drunk and all. I hope he stays slightly evil and unpredictable.

That sucks. I actually liked them in today's episode!

@bold: I'm hoping that's the case too...let's see what happens.

@blue: It's basically a supernatural comedy-drama about a vampire, werewolf and a ghost who live together in a flatshare and try their best to be....well, human. It's about as realistic a supernatural drama can get, IMO. These are characters who constantly struggle with containing their 'dark' and 'monstrous' sides and they simply want to remember what it was to be like normal humans as they deal with everyday life. It is a British drama and has been recently adapted into an American series with the same name, which currently airs on the SyFy channel. I'd recommend checking out the original UK version though; it's far superior to its US counterpart.

Ughh crap! Looks like I'll have to jump ship after tonight's episode to Stefan/Caroline (they had awesome scenes)....Felt bad for both Caroline and Tyler for different reasons though. Hopefully C/T will somehow able to go back to being friends in the future....
