Okay so I just realized I haven't posted my reaction to the finale here, thanks for the heads up Preity (:
As much as I hate to say it, the finale was sorta a disappointment to me at times. It's my own fault, actually, because I expected so much from it.& Maybe it was the spoilers, but besides them I had pretty much guessed the deaths. Anna, John, the tomb folks. The only I didn't know was Mayor Lockwood. From the promo I knew Jer was going to turned, didn't guess that reason obviously. Oh and the "biggest" thing of them all, I so called Katherine's return. Hahahaha.
But uh, lets break this epi down. You already guess my fave part Bamon scene. Okay so did not expect him to thank her. Woah! Blew me away! I expected a confrontation, this was a much better suprise! Damon Salvatore doesn't just thank anyone. And though she didn't really deserve it then, I loved how she ended up helping them, which in the end of the epi where he is talking to Katherine he tells her Bonnie was right in her position. I do think the I owe you symbolizes something in S2. JP and KW said it was a powerful nugget. That could only mean something good for Bamon in the next season. So excited for them now! If they take it the book way I know what it might symbolize....
Okay Damon had to know that was Katherine, IDK why the look on his face after they kissed, I'm hoping he realized who kissed him. I don't mind watching D/K just not D/E because DK is interesting while D/E makes me want to go to sleep.
Love how they are buliding up Tyler's story I can't wait for him to adjust to who he really is. It will deff be interesting. As much I was into him and Caroline, Matt pulled me back into M/C hard. That last scene with all three of the touched me the most. Can't wait for more from these 3. As far as Caroline, I know she will be okay. She has to be...
Anna, I did love this girl the most as far as vampire went. They killed my fave vamps. Anna and Pearl! I was never really into Jer/Anna but dang the scene where he held her as she hurt, woah! They had me offically hooked. Too bad right when I came a full-on shipper they killed her off, why?! I've only cried twice with this show. Once when Bonnie's grams died and now when Anna die. How tragic? To beg for your life from the same person who murdered your mother? Ughhhh. So happy John died, never sympathesized with him at all. Okay maybe once when Isobel was concerned but that was it. What I loved overall aobut Jer/Anna was that Romeo/Juliet angle they pulled from her death. She was staked to death, and him, he drank poison to his "death"
And speaking of his death, I honestly think they are making him a vamp for the dang S/E/D triangle. I mean think about it. Damon influenced Jer into becoming one. And now when Jer is turned he will need help into this transition, and who better to control Jer's outrageouness to his new life? Damon will control him and help him which will make Elena like Damon more and there you have it... a start to the triangle where Elena has to choose between the brothers.
There were a couple of other things I wanted to mention but I seem to have forgotten. I have all the main points that I wanted to rant on covered. So if the other things were important hopefully they will come to me soon.... so that's all.
