Maximum lifespan for the human species should have been capped at 50 years ± 1 year, IMO. Nature should have taken into consideration the fact that tolerance for repetitious, pointless drivel has limits when it comes to conscious minds. Hopefully, Galapagos tortoises and Greenland sharks are oblivious of time.
