I agree with this Sadhu. I feel the same way. Hinduism teaches us to respect/accept others religion/beliefs and anyone who behaves otherwise is not following hinduism at all!

good for him! The world needs Jews for their ingenuity, inventions and drug discoveries, so any terrorist attack on them is an attack on the civilized world. I also appreciate the fact that unlike some other crowd the Jews don't spend all their time debating stupid things like who is a kafir and fighting over who has correctly interpretating their book. They are into modern science and tech that serves humanity, not medieval stuff that only gets people enraged and killing one another in the most barbaric ways possiblesmiley1

My Apologies to India. I totally can see why you want to stand with Israel despite their unethical killings. My reasons below this biased display.

Sorry Palestine was not in a position to help you with Weapons and an Army - They didn't have one themselves most likely. In the Israeli - Palestinian peace process, Israel has consistently demanded that the Palestinian state would always be demilitarized. Israeli negotiators demanded to keep Israeli troops in the West Bank, to maintain control of Palestinian airspace, and to dictate exactly what weapons could and could not be purchased by the Palestinian security forces.

Very sorry that they were again not of any assistance in the 26/11 attacks due to the same reason as above. Absurd isn't it?

And Dang! Palestine failed to help you, How did they not magically create the means of sending aid over to you.

Pakistan apparently did, I rem lots of Tweeters demanding their country to send aid in Pakistan for India. They said no matter what issues we have - as neighbouring countries we are brothers.

Did Pakistan's aid get lost in the post? I suggest you get some to look for it in Lost and found property at customs then, whilst you are at it - look for the aid that Britain sent too, as there is no mentioning of my countries generosity either.

Funny when India needed it the most, your countries 'big cheese', decided to keep a hush hush on things and only a few organisations were streaming the reality of the situation going on and trying to get aid. I protested very hard for India during those times and spread awareness as much as possible for trying to get any help to reach India. I'm Muslim.

I'm not Israeli - But I guess I won't be seen and anything someone else other than Israel did for you - won't be seen either.

^^ carisma, I think Indians are sick of terrorism. The Hamas attacks on Israeli settlements strongly resonate with many of us. We've both have been targetted by Islamic terrorism.

no one expects the Palestinians to help us economically or militarily. But it would have been nice if they had supported us in OIC and other forums when it came to pak-sponsored terrorism. They did not.

then, there is just the fact that Indians by and large focus less on religion and more on trying to modernize and grow economically, and on the military threats from china. These are imperative for us. There is an increasing recognition that we need to align with the US/ Israel in these respects, especially now that russia is aligning with china.

It's too bad the palestinians and so much of the muslim world spend so much energy on religion. Other than oil that we pay for, there is very little contribution to modernity and humanity compared to the Israelis when it comes to drug discovery, tech innovation etc. Again, science and tech are aspects that resonate with Indians who excel in similar ways as the Israelis.

lastly, I think there's an admiration and respect for the Israelis, in that they built an advanced country surrounded by enemies, a country that excels in so many fields. Just look at the number of nobels they win! Like it or not, but they are like David against the middle-east goliaths.
