Social media spread the most disinformation and that is some people's main news sources here! It explains A LOT without saying.

Iran, meanwhile, has dismissed the claim.

They would rather believe Al-Jazeera and other terrorist sympathizing versions and call every other news that doesn't fit their terrorist sympathizing viewpoint as fake. 🤷

Twitter may have abundance of fake news but it's also a portal that publishes real news that mainstream media hides or shows only after the news catches wildfire.

Sorry i still don't believe those pathetic jokes of international rankings even if published by biased news outlets like Washington Post, newyork times or BBC.

If they think the news is fake they can always debunk it. Has action been taken on their favorites like al Jazeera for spreading the fake Hamas version about hospital bombings which they embraced with open arms in no time? Rest all news (that doesn't suit their propaganda) they call fake.

What is rubbish is based on personal choice. I could say the same about your choices. For ex. What is rubbish for me might be food for a buffalo. Not calling you buffalo (just to be clear).

Oh God the theatrics and meltdown hope this reporting and public showoff of reporting gives them some peace of mind even though I don't see anything worth reporting or breaking rule here . 🤷

Since when did Al-Jazeera sympathize with terrorist? Just because they corrected fake news? Have you read any of there other articles. Have you even seen how much they have condemned Hamas? Clearly your highlighting another part of the problem here.

And these rankings are not published by BBC, NYTimes, or Washington Post. They are done by well reputed research organizations. That have been working on these issues for years.

If you rather trust twitter over content that has been published. That can be taken to court for defamation and various others accounts. I think enough is said right then and there. You are doing a better job showcasing why people here are so consistent with posting fake news. They refuse to believe anything else when it doesn't fit their narrative. And only go to the outlet that is famous for spreading misinformation. Anyone can tweet at any time without any qualification or checking. That is your source of information than that says a lot.

Who says it showcases news that other people miss? Show me one source of news it reported that others did not that wasn't fake news.

Even Israel does not deny that the attack on the hospital has happened. I can also name many other times they have been found guilty of bombing hospitals in Gaza by private investigators. But none of the BJP folks who are used to cheap BJP propaganda are going to believe.

But again a million sources can say the same thing. Some people are still going to call fake news real news. And real news fake news. And use the most laughable sources possible for information. Spread it here. Then have the audacity to talk about fake news. CLEARLY, priorities are set.

And since someone has clearly indicated they have no plans to stop this. I will have to bring up the credibility of Twitter with the mods unless it is a government official. And talk about how it has no place is constructive discourse as some of us are seeking to have here. And have the use of it banned altogether. I am sure they are at least educated enough to know the difference between published content and Twitter. Even if many don't seem to understand or rather choose not to understand. And then have the audacity to point fingers at others talking about fake news! The irony! Priorities are clearly set!

No, when it comes to the credibility of news what is rubbish and what already been debunked is not subjective. That is why most BJP new anchors have earned the name of laughing stalks or clowns around the world. And people here have a hard time accepting it.
