More nations playing cricket,don' u wish?

yea i agree..we need to get countries like china,japan,brazil etc to start thier own cricket team..it would certainly make cricket more fun to watch..and we'll have more competition..im sure more people will also watch cricket if their are more countries playing..

well but the ICC doesn't allow these nations' new teams entry into the Test match level arena nor are the more famous teams ever toured the newcomers. So it takes a lot of time for them to develop into a competitive sporting unit..

look at the condition of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe teams!

Somehow or the other, I feel this is right...coz if u'll have these established cricketing sides playing against the newcomers, competition would decrease and every other day, u'll witness a world record being broken.

ICC does have an associates category where they have these new cricketing countries like Scotland,Ireland,Canada,Malaysia etc..
But ICC needs to work harder to promote cricket in these areas..They must provide sufficient funds to these countries, construct stadiums there..send coaching teams...open academies.. ICC is doing all these things but not efficiently!

As for China, Pak first taught then hockey and after few years..China has now emerged as a good hockey team often beating the tougher sides. Now Pakistan is teaching them cricket.I think Rashid Khan is their coach...In a few years' time, you'll have the Chinese playing against bigger teams..!!😛
