I would blame the captain Rahul Dravid for the defeat . He took a poor decision to bat first and his handling of the team lacked any kind of aggressiveness or attitude . We never saw him showing his encouragement and he was never innovative and imaginative with his ideas. He was just following the same routine even when the bangladeshi players were hitting the bal out of the park .

The other player I would blame is Sehwag , openers and opening partnerships are very important to set the score and sehwag gave a poor start by playing an absolute irresponsible reckless shot as he always does .

The same goes to Sachin, he was one of the worlds best batsman and if he wanted he could have played the spin sensibly but he too played a very reckless shot which cost us .

Agarkar who is an absolute waste in the team . He doesnt contribute with the bat nor the ball. I still dont understand wht did dravid and the management find in him to select him time and again.

The team selectment is the responsibility of Greg and Vengsarkar if I am not mistaken.

i also don't think that dravid is a bad captain....

i agree...y did they put sehwag in the opening and him being out at only 2 runs...this sehwag problem started only cause of him,...the popularity was gone to his head or something...but when they match started...i believe the indian team should have field instead of bat cause they knew that the feild was thick and out feild would be slow...plus i also think that sreesanth(the bowler...seen on the benches) should have played in this match...he is a good bowler...

i was also very disappointed with the batting performances of harbhajan,dhoni(who we expected much more from), and agakar....all of them were out at 0!!!! zero runs...we don't need to see this performance during the world cup atleast...

indian team HAS to win from bermuda and sri lanka if the want to make it in the super 8....seeing their performane here...they will have to work harder..

~~~~BEST OF LUCK INDIA~~~~
Excuse me if I offend anyone but I think the Indian media and partially Indian fans are to be blamed as they consider their cricket players as stars and not as sportsmen.
And the Indian players have this attitude problem , especially the new ones.
They even considered Bangladesh to be so low that never allowed Bangladesh to play test cricket in India.
Because playing with Bangladesh is not glamorous and nome of the media sponsors are ready to throw money
But sports is not acting in films. cricket players are not film stars. They are sportmen.
