11:34 Local Time, 06:04 GMT, 11:34 IST: An intriguing session of cricket and India have just edged it with three wickets. The pacers started well with Akash Deep trapping Devon Conway right in front, but it was followed by a useful partnership between Tom Latham and Will Young. The introduction of spin and particularly Washington Sundar saw India getting back into the contest - he had taken 11 in Pune and he took the same form going into Mumbai. Two corkers to get rid of Latham and Ravindra as the visitors slipped from 59 for 1 to 72 for 3. Young has looked competent though and he has used the sweep well to ward off the threat of spin. Mitchell has looked jittery, but did survive to the break. India will believe that they have the upper hand, but there's plenty of work coming up when the action resumes at 12:10 pm

The two umpires are having a word with Sarfaraz Khan. Rohit and Kohli join them and the Indian skipper is now having an animated chat with umpire Richard Illingworth. Could be regarding Sarfaraz's chit-chat while standing at short leg/silly point

Plv Rajshekar: Mitchell and Young are rotating the strike and settling in nicely here, India’s spinners have to create pressure. A wicket now is essential to disrupt this partnership before it transforms into a big stand.

It is a hot and humid day in Bombay. The players are sweating profusely and need a break every few overs
