Ashwin was animated and forced his cpatin to go for it - the bat is close to the pad, has Root jammed an inside edge? No, it's pad first and we're onto ball-tracking: The imapct though is outside off and India have lost their review.

Akash Deep to Crawley, out Bowled!! Magnificent! Nerves in the Indian camp as they turn to the umpire, but it's a fair delivery and Crawley has been sent on his way. Three wickets inside the first hour for Akash Deep - he's having a storming debut. The nip-backer, Crawley was finding it tough all morning and he's finally undone by it. Crawley b Akash Deep 42(42) [4s-6 6s-1]

Akash Deep to Crawley, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!

Akash Deep to Crawley, OUT

He has his man. Two times over. He has hit Crawley's top of off twice in one hour. Sixth over in his first spell on debut, and he gets his third wicket with the second-last ball. That perfect length, outside off, seams back in appreciably, and beats his inside edge

Zak Crawley b Akash Deep 42 (42b 6x4 1x6) SR: 100

3rd wicket for the debutant.

What a great debuts for Sarfaraz, Dhruv and Akash!smiley32

They are not taking anything for granted. Grabbing the opportunity with both hands.

Three wickets after losing the toss, and it's Akash Deep, who has been the toast of India. Has been outstanding, getting the ball to move both ways and getting it to skid off the surface which has stayed 'interesting'
