Salt Lake Stadium to host IPL Opening Ceremony
Red Chillies Entertainment to promote Kolkata event

The Pepsi IPL 2013 will commence with an Opening Ceremony on the evening of Tuesday, 2 April 2013, at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. The IPL has signed Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd as promoters for the Opening Ceremony.
"We are delighted to have tied up with Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd, which has a proven track record of organising and executing events on a grand scale. The Opening Ceremony of the Pepsi IPL 2013 will be one of the most spectacular events ever witnessed, in keeping with what will follow in the tournament itself, over the following seven weeks," Rajeev Shukla, Chairman, IPL, said.
Further details pertaining to the Opening Extravaganza will be announced over the next few days.
The Pepsi IPL 2013 will be played across the country from 3 April 2013 to 26 May 2013.
