This win wiped off my pain of losing the semi final against SL in 1996, I had high fever on that day, unable to digest India's defeat...now feeling dizzzy and feverish in happiness..😃

Yes, yes!! We did it! The cup is ours, finally.. What a feeling... the feeling of victory... that too after 28 years... It definitely means a lot :)

The match was great. I'm sure most you might agree with me that the last six by Dhoni was fantastic! Also, what Gambhir did was commendable. Had he not been there the circumstances would have been completely different. It is sad that he couldn't make a 100, but that doesn't matter since his contribution is huge. =)

Not only Gambhir or Dhoni but the Man of series, Yuvraj Singh also was exceptionally well through out the tournament. He deserves the title!

I was almost in tears, watching the solid members of the Indian team crying in utter joy. That showed how much they value the trophy, and how much did we all crave for this day...

I loved the part (after the match) when the team carried Sachin and then the coach, Gary with the world cup trophy in their hand.. It was a proud moment for all of us!!

Overall the match was great and the better team did win, although SL did extremely well too. SL was in an excellent form too and gave the Indian team a great competition...

Great match and great victory... waiting the entire day... waiting for that moment to arrive... all the anxiety... praying... cheering.. crying...it was all worth it!! 👏

after dis pic i havent noticed Dhoni much on ground..wonder where he has gone...
but read dat sachin went to his house to celebrate the victory..but the gifts dey gonna receive are truly awesomeeee but as i said earlier nuthing can beat the feeling being called the world champions
