Sachin was one of the reasons why every Indian wanted this Cup so Badly! I congrats Indian Team and every fellow citizen from the bottom of my heart! congrats everyone!

Whenever I look at Sachin, I see a man of character and sincerity. He played the sport like passion for 20 yrs, and in an age where corruption and betrayal is a norm, he gives hope. Of course this is just my perception, but Sachin Tendulkar is an honorable man. Team India has done everyone proud today and who knew that a sport could bring nations together and people of all kinds together. Yea, there's gonna be speculations now on how "deserved" was the victory....but who cares, for once I'd not want to be a cynic, and just enjoy the moment of glory. After 28 years, India has come together again. I have also lived something that my parents had lived. Feels super good. I don't even think I have a fav from the tourney....all were equally talented and superb.

Maa Tujhe salam. A proud Indian.!:) I wish I was there to live the moment, but here is good too.

Word Zainu. Sport is no parameter to judge patriotism but it definitely is the reason to bring the nation together specially the cricket crazy nation like ours. I too missed celebrations back home but then I know I saw the Moment of decades live! an Indian in me is crying out loud too - Maa Tujhe Salaam!

Wasn't able to post earlier as there was just too much excitement going on for my brain to really decide where all to post. lol I am soooo Happyy India Won!!! They were fully Deserving of being the Champions this Season. One thing that I would like to mention: This was a Team Effort. The credit cannot be given to one person as the entire Team brought Victory. I think all players had their moments and that is what was so special about this. A total team Effort!!
