Recently there was a news that Vodafone will be the official carrier of services on the iPhone from Apple.

So does this mean that people who are on Reliance, Airtel, Idea etc cannot buy iPhone without getting a new number?

Will the number portability happen soon?

Since India is GSM, can you just not switch the sim cards?? I mean is it not fine as long as its unlocked??

Well, i live in US and im one of the person who sells Iphone's here, as its through only ATT, and i work for them.

Iphone has gotten mixed reviews, awesome phones but can give hard time sometimes. Each phone has its Pros n Cons.

Gud choice!

Airtel and Vodafone going to offer iPhone by this year end .. about other we need to wait and watch .. as till now they both only got rights to sell they will try to do something to restrict other like reliance and others ..

still picture is not much clear we have to wait till year end for better picture ..

meanwhile 3G version iPhone also launched and which is cheaper that old version .. hope we get 3G version only ... its not much helpful as 3G is not in India but still we always like to go for latest technology dost matter we use the same or not .. :P
