Lenovo is a good brand. Don't buy Dell the hell i've had bad experiences with this brand. Alienware is for gamers. HP is also a good brand.
maybe this link can help you too:

Sony or HP, I'd say. I have HP, even though it has crashed a few times.. it's been good, especially the speed.

If you are in business and do not want to compromise on your working schedule, you must buy this high end model by Lenovo. It comes with a powerful quad Core i7 processor and is suitable for 3D and CAD applications.

This strong workstation is ready to be carried anywhere if you add a keyboard and a low light webcam.

Go for the best one if ur work dependant on it. Core i7, 3D, CAD.

Any particular reason not going for Apple? Because they are the best.
But Asus Rog, HP Envy and Samsung ATIV will be the next best bet for heavy duty graphic design ect.

More than laptop brand I would be looking for these specs: Intel i5 or i7, Intel HD Graphics, 8GB RAM, SSD hard drive (faster than large hard drives) or 1TB hard drive (if you're after large storage in the laptop)

Also look at warranty service. Toshiba have an in-home warranty repair service in my country (Australia) so i think you should look at a company which does this for you.

Basically you need a business laptop, with top specs.
