Kapil Sharma, Shruti Haasan, Sukhvinder Singh to collaborate for music

The versatile comic actor Kapil Sharma wears many hats at the same time. This has never been more apparent than it is now. Just when he is getting ready to embark on his movie career, Kapil is also all set to sing a number with the talented Shruti Haasan who has is a trained musician.

And giving the important backhand support, Sukhwinder would be composing the track which is to be produced by Coke Studios.

Kapil who loves music says he would be pursuing his singing career as seriously as acting. "We are definitely planning something. I met Shruti on a flight and am a huge fan of her father, Kamal Haasanji. And as luck would have it I was sitting right next to Shruti in the flight. We got chatting and discovered our mutual love for music and singing. We decided we'd do a song together," says the comedy king.

From an airborne idea the song is now heading towards a ground-reality. Says Kapil, "I've always said I'd have been a professional singer if I was not entertaining audiences on the stage. Being on stage also gives me a chance to do both acting and singing. I am now looking at seriously pursuing acting and singing. The two go hand-in-hand in our films."

We this trio, we are sure it is going to be one musical treat.
