Yes and I should have edited my comment because I watched the episode properly again and saw that it was a chemical which is true. But you cannot make a car out of drugs.

First things first pure cocaine needs a binding agent. Even if it was inside the metal, that makes the car highly unbalanced because you now have hollow metal holding a car together. And any screws that went through the hollow metal have touched the drugs. Metal rusts and that metal touching drugs means the drugs are touching rust. Second drugs become useless once wet. So when they sprayed the chemical-water concoction over the car to melt it, they have effectively ruined the drugs. Third this chemical is supposed to melt everything it touches, then how did the drugs survive it?

Yeah that deduction is correct and not explained properly. They properly exercises their creative liberty over that chemical that actually exists.

As for drugs touching rust, the criminals were probably cashing in on the adulteration of drugs since that's supposed to be very common in real.

And for the third question, again probably a chemical that is strong enough for metals but not cocaine or a chemical that reacts with the metal cocaine compound to get them apart or just creative liberty again :)

Watched ACP's grandson episode. Can't digest that how & why in so many years he didn't get to know about his family. The thing is in writing & also in the direction you clearly make out that this 'made up' track in the sense to get TRPs. See how genuine the original Nakul track was looking that time & even today that track & scene helps so many tracks.

Surprising, really. An ACP like him would definitely have tried to find out what Nakul had been doing all these years and would have come upon his wife anyway.

Or do they want to show that ACP wanted to erase all memories of Nakul forever, so he didn't bother to find out?

I do wish they continue this track...not erase ACP's grandson forever.

Why Sony letting down UK viewers, especially when CID airs at 4pm?? For the past 2 weekends, no new episodes. Showing repeats of May'18 episodes instead. Before that only one new episode on sunday (22.7.18)

Now I think we are 2-3 episodes behind India.
