Because then it would mean accepting that they have no more need for CID and that they are now concentrating more on those shows that air for a few months and then disappear.

CID receives very good trp compared to other shows of Sony.. and I don't understand if on Saturday they already have a slot vacant at 10.30 p.m why can't they give one episode of cid? why to double telecast old episodes of CP?

If Sony channel's intention was to make fans/viewers to guess every weekend will there or won't there be an episode or episodes of CID and viewers will has back fired what with one episode a week still gets a steady TRP of 1.1. They might have thought viewers will get fed up and TRP will fall which gives them an excuse to take it off air??!!
