Very few Sony shows have decent TRPs. Despite that, they are making a mess of CID by irritating viewers.

I don't know if I am right...

In an interview based on twentieth anniversary of CID, Shivaji Satam sir had said that actors cannot interfere or say anything about the promotion of the show...

But as a fan, I am asking one thing... If the actors cannot interfere in promoting the show, then how will their efforts and hard work be effective? Then for whom the show is still running? For whom the actors are putting their efforts? A channel or any media should act like a bridge, I don't know what is the case with this channel... We continue loving their show... But if the channel continues to do such things, then our love for the show gradually gets decreased... Fans should make a clear note about this to the channel as well as the cast... Or else nothing can save the show from its tragic condition...

Any project, and not just shows, are a product of team effort. Actors do exactly that - acting. The Marketing and Promotion Teams job is to promote. The top executive decides on who (specialists) needs to do what(specialization) and how much of that 'what'(output). Neither the actors nor the promotion team could interfere in the decision taken at the top level. That's what satam sir said. Till the show runs - the actors and everyone else need to do their job - for which they get paid. There you go - Capitalism for real.

Honestly i m least bothered about sony now! I'm just fed up.

Can't tweet or msg anymore of airing Cid regularly. Sony is least bothered about the fans. They will do whatever they want. They r not gonna pay heed to us! So there is no use of tweeting sony more!

And i have stopped watching anything on Sony! Left Beyhadh & now not watching TKSS also..

Whenever Cid comes, i just watch that. Better for me to avoid Sony. Have got enough pain from them!

Fangirling is a pain sometimes! Phew..

CID is no more a part in my life...

But I had a wonderful time with it...

I don't know why I am still here without any purpose...

@Mini I agree with your point...

We are made emotional fools just for money and nothing else...

Fed up with everything... A big thank you to the CID team who entertained me and I wish them all the best to their future...

I will be here just to read some stories... Nothing else...

The strategy Sony follows, it was bound to happen 🥱

Sony doesn't give regular repeats of other shows.

Earlier sony used to air CID all day long! Non Cid fans got fed up.

Now Sony shows TKSS & CP all the time & it's frustrating!

Agaye phir se bure din sony k!

I agree with Swathi . I don't like this silent approach of actors for CID . Even when I asked Shivaji sir about quality of story & inconsistency in airing he said we are actors & we only act . We don't have a say . No offense but I don't believe it . Senior actors like him must raise a voice . Now a days film is promoted by actors every now & then . Because they make a point that it's their film also & they need to do everything possible . Here just work , take ur money , & go approach is worrying . Does it mean CID is only source of earning to you ? No attachment ? As far as I know him I don't believe it . Then why this approach ?

Do you seriously believe that the actors promoting films are doing it for free? I am not very surprised here, trio didn't ever raise a voice when they had to do some crappy episodes(as far as we know), why will they raise a voice now?
